  1. Bad Sailor the "rods" look pretty interesting but i have not had any problems with my adaptor I got 2 of these -http://www.componentshop.co.uk/7-4v-800mah-20c-continuous-discharge.html with deans and one lasts 1/2 day just pop the other in the other side of the stock and off you go.  For £8.25 a battery you could get 5 for the price of an original TM battery and for a totally drop in solution its pretty good. I'm sure the other options work as well if not better but if you dont want to do any soldering and leave your gun as it is out of the box its pretty good.

  2. Hi Pure Silver thanks for the info, I have the lipo adaptor that looks like the widget you get with the gun to plug the gap in the stock when you're not using the TM batteries http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.popularairsoft.com/files/imagesnew/baton-sopadpt.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.popularairsoft.com/news/baton-gunsmith-sopmod-lipo-adaptor&h=700&w=700&sz=62&tbnid=qkC7UrnpLxaG7M:&tbnh=90&tbnw=90&zoom=1&usg=__tF1OgzwCLKKTYe6n_KdzwUpPEYs=&docid=V_vHjmU_8bMF-M&sa=X&ei=GfslUtvDLc6u7AbI3YGABg&ved=0CEcQ9QEwBg&dur=109

thats one and I can fit an 800mAh lipo down each side of the crane stock, so far i have to say i'm very pleased with the result trigger response seems faster and so far each battery has easily lasted 1/2 a day so i just swap out at lunch and bobs your uncle!  The 800mAh's are only £8 from componant shop so 1 TM battery =4 lipos, easily enough for a day, but if i can fit a 1300mAh in there all the better!!!

  3. I have the mag well adaptor and fitted it once and since then have never used it again. The mods with the bolt stop are too awesome! But if you do get the adaptor it seems to fit pretty solidly so I can't imagine it falling off. Gutted about the pts pmags but these http://www.ebairsoft.com/battleaxe-magazine-marui-recoil-shock-p-5325.html are pretty good they work just as well as my TM mags (they must have been made from hi- cap shells as they have the slot for the winder in the base play but its covered/filled in!)

I was equally surprised myself - The rail is literally perfect. The finish is nice and flat, and a much earthier brown in person, not bronze or golden at all. Rails happily take anything I want to mount on them, the markings are sharp and accurate. I googled the NSN number and even that's accurate! I particularly like the inclusion of the 'Front sight here' part.

All I can think is that because it's part of a G&P built gun, perhaps G&P manufacture the rail under license from Madbull? G&P previously made DD Mk18 rails before their agreement with Madbull, so maybe they're making them in-house, hence the better than Madbull quality? Not sure, but I can't fault the rail at all, it really is nice.

I've seen you say this about the madbull rails before so when I needed to tighten the barrel on my sopmod I had a look at my madbull risII.  There was nothing in the top section of the rail to stop you putting a gas sytem in there and I haven't had any trouble fitting anything to my ris either and its got all the bits and bobs you can think of bolted onto it lol, maybe I just got lucky and got a decent one, a tuesday afternoon rather than a friday afternoon lol

  5. Damn you damn you all to wolf grey hell!! : P : )))) Very nice, very nice indeed I've found a source for the Talos in grey and its quite a lot less than normal price but its the nephews 2nd birthday this weekend and I need to eat and I'd like some pmags for TM recoil and a short dot replica and mount and I need to get into work, damn all the things that dip into my airsoft funds a new Gucci loadout isnt going to help!!!

Edit: BFG of course I just checked their web site and guess what the front pages says "urban wolf now available"
