Finally!
Now I just need to add an M203 to my other barrel, some metal hopup units, and I'll be done.

Testing out the effectiveness of my camo in my backyard.

Random gear question: I notice that a lot of soldiers have bulging pockets in their BDU pants. What exactly to they stuff in there?
-
......
Some people don't read everything......
I had to seal them up with silicone sealant. I had to seal one up twice! -
They weren't leaking out of the valve. They were leaking out of the baseplate.

Very nice JSDF kit! I take it you've got some connections in Japan to find the kit?
Sorta:
http://www.d4.dion.ne.jp/~fsaitoh/ by way of http://shoppingmalljapan.com/
A couple things I got off Yahoo Japan Auctions.
My only gripe is that it takes an average of 20-30 days to get your stuff, depending on how fast the seller ships. It has to go from the seller, to a Tokyo warehouse, then from there to an Indiana warehouse, and then to its final destination.
I want some JASDF camo now.....

Meh--green gas is 4 times more expensive than propane....

On the topic of mags, how many of you guys have had problems with leaky mags? All 3 of my USP 45 mags leaked like hell, and I had to seal them up with silicone sealant. I had to seal one up twice!
-
And the latest in Japanese tactical footwear:
-
*fruitcage* it, I'll just get a USPc and sell off my USP .45 mags.
-
very very no
edit: double stack .45 is much bigger than double stack 9mm and you will not get a full size USP mag into any USP Compact and have it feed iirc.
Has anyone ever tried it, or is this all speculation? Because airsoft magazines are rarely proportionate to the real thing.

Random question: Will a KSC USP .45 magazine fit in a KSC USPc?
-
yeah..thats a real Katana
The hamon doesn't look like real clay-tempered.....
I'm torn between a KSC G19 and a Marui G17. KSC is cheaper, but I want the recoil and robustness of the TM--but I like '19s better

Our airsoft sites allow close to 500fps AEGs, and I do just fine with my little old P90 and Type 89.
Power isn't everything. Neither is battery size.

Would it be feasible to cut off the back portion of the dummy bolt, so that it is similar in length to the real AK bolt, thus letting it travel more than ~5cm?

Honestly what I fear/worry for BE is that the TYPE89 isn't everyone's cup of tea. We have nationality issues(I'm ______and it's a Japanese gun so__________ ) and so on as well as the size of the gun not being right for most guys who aren't midgets.
-
So are you saying people discriminate against Japanese models in particular? Not because the Japanese guns don't fit their loadout, but because they just don't want to be seen carrying that junk?
If we're using Darklite as an example, the answer would be yes.
-
That's saying "I don't have Japanese gear, so I won't buy a Japanese rifle", which doesn't have anything to do with nationality, unlike "I'm not Japanese, so I won't buy a Japanese rifle".
-
-
Really? I guess you have to be a midget to use an M4 as well
-
I'm ______and it's a Japanese gun so__________
Which, oddly, never seems to go like "I'm ________and it's a German/French/Belgian/British/<insert other foreign country> gun so ___________".
I wish the rest of the foregrip were metal, then I'd use those on my TM '89.
-
Oh my... I don't think I can ever do that to my T89, the only wear I have on it is the outter barrel where the bipod is attatched to.
Half of the real ones are as shiny as your 1911 ;P
Those scratches all came from ALICE gear

I hate Phantom kits.
I would really like that carbine kit, but Evike is the only place that sells them, and they're out of stock.
