Also remember to take duty and VAT into account.
Buy individually from HK and you may manage to get past customs.
As a large importer, I doubt companies like action hobbys can get away with that.

as above, its the G&P KV stock, holds a large battery.......
......which i havnt wired up yet. i didnt get instructions either, and tbh it boggles me. i had my CA36K open earlier, for a hop problem, and couldnt really see how the wiring worked. but im going to have a go when i order my new hop rubber, saves me opening it up more than needed. i'll try and write a guide to doing it.
the Guarder 'Elken' is really nice. the rubber is very thick, and this scope is going to last longer than mankind itself. the optics are crystal clear, and the mount is sturdy and well built. i really cant fault it. 4x zoom.
unfortuantly, on my CA249 MK2, it is somewhat difficult to use because of the eye relief. however this mihgt be the gun as much as the scope. the MK2 stock is quite long, and the rear sight stops me from putting the scope all the way back on teh rails. im takign the rear sight off to hopefully fix the slight problem.
all in all though, the scope itself is proper good.
Take the pistol grip out.
See at the back of the gearbox (where the spring guide is held) there back of the pistol grip is flat?
Hack a bit off there, and run wires through it to the motor.
Make sure you've enough slack to handle the stock being folded, but not too much as to get in the way when you don't fold the stock.

Photoshop gives you the ability to control contrast far greater than with lighting alone.
Try dodging or burning a specific area of your subject with lighting alone.
It's fantastic at converting to monochrome, giving you the ability to not just de-saturate but control exactly how you want the colour removed.
Correcting under or over exposed photos is a doddle too.
And of course you can use some CS2 magic and produce things like this:

If your camera can do it, shoot in RAW
Gives you a lot more to work with when adjusting levels etc
Photoshop is your friend. It's a clunky friend, but very powerful!
Get a subscription to a good digital photography magazine, such as http://www.photographymags.co.uk/
They give plenty of tutorials on how to take great photos.
Use as low an ISO as you can get away with.
Try not to centralise your subject, move it off to the left or right.
Use the rule of thirds, imagine a 3 by 3 grid through the viewfinder, and line up natural changes in the subject with the imaginary grid lines.
Cardboard covered in tin foil makes a cheap but practical reflector.
Jessops do flashes for under £20, go get one.

One I took last weekend at Finmere and applied some simple CS2 magic

What is the difference between the M190 and M199?

There's a thread on it in the technical forum.
Cost less than £20 for parts

Here's my G36 with home made box mag (holds approx 6000 and cost less than £20) and battery box on rail (holds a 2250mAh 11.1V LiPol battery)
Might add a radio camera to the front of the battery box

zomg! He can't be serious can he? Someone tell me people aren't really that dumb!?!

No, the length is identical. The stocks on CAs G36s or G36Ks are 26cm long (correct size), no matter if it's with or without the cut-out. The G36C stock is 22cm long.
Thanks for that Unimatrix

Hehe okay, my comment was a bit inaccurate .
The whole story:
The G36/G36K sized stocks doesn't have a cut-out. They don't need it. The stock on your SL8 is a G36C stock. The C-stock has the cut-out, because it's 4cm shorter than the stocks of the carbine and fullsize rifle. Without the cut-out the shorter C-stock would block the ejection port in folded position. Result would be an ejection malfunction that would jam the gun.
The early type G36C stocks have been produced without cut-out too, but after a few hundred pieces the problem was discovered and fixed with the cut-out in the C-stock.
In short:
C-stocks: with cut-out
fullsize stocks: no cut-out
Is there any difference in the stock lengths though between a CA36 with cutout and a CA36 without it?

Ah, old version stock.
I think it's a fine way to mount a light, or anything that doesn't need to be zeroed. Plus, with the light I think it looks good. I'd paint the heads of the screws black though.
Thanks
Yes, the crome screws do look out of place. I've got some black paint ready to use.
The lower rail is from the MP5 ICS tactical foregrip (which can't take the M203 on the MP5 but can on the G36) and you'd hardly notice it was there without the M203.
The above pic is what I'd set up for CQB (although mainly just with the tac light)
What exactly is the difference between old version and new version stocks?

Aw but without the rails, how can I have the G36 O'Doom to go with my MP5 O'Doom?
You can see the stock better there.
I used the vent holes simply because I don't want to butcher the gun trying to put rails on the side in the right place (it's too beautiful to have holes cut out) and it puts the tac light in range of my thumb.
I've put a long rail on the underside which can take the M203.
Also trying out a 7.4v LiPol battery.

Just looking at the first pic, are there really crane stocks with battery compartments in RS?
