The problem isn't with the mods, its with the members. It very quickly turns them into prepubescent little boys that no longer have the ability to enjoy and move on. Look at whats happened here; Guinness posts one chick and the entire world stopped turning and started revolving around his posts.
The mods comment was a joke, i was just finding an odd reason as to why the threads were getting locked, whatever you do at home is up to you.
But really we need a thread that is just simply titled in a way that 'Girls and guns, post pics of your missus, GF or friends holding airsoft guns or at an airsoft game, keep them tasteful'. At least if the thread is dedicated to that and the point of 'no pointless oggling posts' is made clear perhaps it will be a success.

Can i just add to the whole rep and post rep debate.
To be honest it is an unnessecary system that i find encourages others to basically give no real opinion or help to the discussion by allowing them to remain hidden and have a go at others without giving a reason why.
I admit that in the pictures section the ability to give someone a +1 helps save clutter and posts of 'good job etc' from filling up the threads.
On something like Facebook or Youtube with the Like and thumbs up or down system it works there however on here it just seems way too open to abuse. That and leaving players with a sense of why have i been given a +/-, what part of my post did they like or dislike.
Could a poll that says 'i want / don't want the post rep system' be put up and that way we can have a majority vote on it? Then we can see if all of us want it or not.

I think we should have a picture thread, girls and airsoft guns, PG-13 and airsoft guns only, anyone found not sticking to the rules is given warn points.

Nearly done my Stock Marui Custom:
Night Warrior Slide on a MEU Frame and Hammer with a Detonics Trigger and Safety, 1911A1 Trigger Bar and Grips. Will run on 1911A1 mags rather than MEU ones for that flush fit effect.
All i need to change is the MEU trigger to the Silver Night Warrior one and i am done.
Also it is backed up by my Detonics, which now sports the MEU trigger

Well it should fit with no issue on the Tercel and the KJ as they are direct clones of the same mould. The WE i am not sure on as the slide could be a different width.
Damn i should get one of those Surefires when i have the money. Though i would put it on my Detonics.

Fobus holsters i find work best, so long as you haven't got a big front sight and are using the standard cut of slide on your pistol.

I would just want two and the holster for the bling factor.
Got bored and swapped the trigger on my Night Warrior and Detonics. Turns out that with the shorter trigger in the Night Warrior it clears the disconnector issue.
Will get a pic up later.

Yes, hollow points in the Detonics, FMJ in the FW, G.I. Ball in the 1911A1 and some semi-wadcutter in the Night Warrior

Weirdly enough it was size from left to right, however that is odd that they also work alphabetically (unless you put Colt M1911A1).

And not in the order ibought them either as the 1911A1 would be at the end that way.
Also tried the Detonics slide on the Foliage Warrior frame for a pre-cursor to the TM Strike Warrior. It just looks so wrong.

How come you went with a slide without front slide serrations?
Maybe as they are not that useful in airsoft unlike the real world?

Yeah, unlike in Miami Vice i actually have to move around with this holstered so maybe not. Thinking more in a right hand Vega holster at the back.
Then Night Warrior on the right side in a Fobus, Foliage Warrior on the left in a basic cheap holster and the 1911A1 in a shoulder holster

Physically fair enough but to the users that ability to give +/- to someones post changes things as i have said. It leads to too many people lurking and only hitting a button rather than actually taking the time to voice their opinion, something that if i recall the concept of the forum was designed for.
It turns it into Facebook and gives that ability to have no real opinion on a subject to people that are already lazy enough to post what they think. Like i have said before if only 5% of those 100 that press a Like or +/- button actually piped up and posted then we could have a much greater show of opinion.
Would it be possible simply to have a voting thread, at least that way it is all up to us, the user.
