Thought this would be best placed here.
Does anyone have a picture of the custom 1911 that is used in MGS3, that is not being carried by Snake as i want to see what the frame looks like at the front, wether it is checkered like the MEU or smooth like a 1911A1, i am planning to make one but with an all black slide i just need to see what the frame is like.

Beats the hell out of my Naked Custom (Naked Snake style 1911A1).

I'm thinking Bulldog after the roughly similar one Auto Ordnance do but that is an Officers slide on a Government frame.
Actually Bulldog is quite good, short nose and body (barrel) with long legs (frame).

Hardly nice to put a tag with A POS on your gun, especially as it looks that nice.
Will have to add my nice 1911's to this when i have finished them.

The fact i live in the UK, and that customs are mostly full of retards and fail means i won't be able to buy them anyway. Plus they aren't 1911A1's are they
But nice Delta Elite, i have always considered one but don't have the, money or time to do anything like that.

Yes,
Now who here wants to sell me there TM 1911's so i can have a pair for a Last Man Standing loadout.

True, looked a nice pistol but at the short time it was widely available i had barely enough money to go and skirmish, never mind buy anything new.
Well if they do re-release them then i will very much try and get my hands on one and put some better grips on and that's it for me.

You could get the TM Hardballer but it has a rather low FPS and uses those stupid looking stick mags.
As for the WA Hardballer, you would be hard pressed to get one as they were a limited edition i believe and most places have them as discontinued.

I find that a decent soft holster is ok if you are going for a hip or back mount but for a drop leg then the Serpa is the best bet, those adjustable Viper type ones are horrendus at keeping your pistol where it needs to be.

Depends on what you want.
If it is a hard holster then try a nice Fobus.
If it is a soft holster then maybe a Viper adjustable or any standard adjustable one.

Thank god for that lol.
One guy did that with a pic of his mistress only to have his fiancee ask to use the computer the next day.
I would post mine but for now it is a picture of Quantum of Solace and has some really basic icons on it.

Well why would a guy have a random pic of a pretty much naked girl as his desktop unless she is his girlfriend, wife, fiancee etc.

Well done.
Unless you really want us to caption it.

Humm nice camo there.
And a hell of a gun, good old fashioned 1911's as they should be.

*fruitcage* *suitcase* computer with it's slow internet made me double post.
Well may as well use it,
With the new Springfield company they even have the breakaway Les Baer who was a Springfiled custom gunsmith but went alone i believe, along with Auto Ordnance who made the Thompson, they have a small series of 1911's too. Just a good design with lots of potential and giving that all to one company would be too much hassle.

Yes as it is a Colt designed gun built in a Springfield factory, like opening a Jaguar to find the Ford logo on the engine kind of thing, made one place by one brand but the components are built somewhere else. During WW2 many guns where made in many factories, some had stamps and numbers to know which factory made what and others just added there own logo to the gun.
I bleieve that some Kimbers have other company markings on them but not 100% sure.

Though it never really had much appeal until it became an official US sidearm as the 1911 (and in 1926 the A1 model we all know and love).
Strange really that even after all those years it still does the job of giving a nice hard thwack on target. Even my airsoft model has made people stumble after i hit them (i blame the Green )
