  1. The only reason i brought the A1 is because im an impatient sod whos been waiting for an affordable SA80 for a very long time! and i guess im not alone in that reason
  2. Wouldn't mind an AFV i think they look cool. And yeh i reckon il be buying the A2 when its out and if they make an LSW that too... I think Army Armaments are onto a winner here.
  3. Ive also had bbs fall out of the barrel. It doesn't seem to misfire though which is odd. Im guessing a dodgy hop up rubber or something. My hop isn't that fantastic, i had to wind it on quite a lot to get any noticeable effect. Then again im comparing to TM hop ups which are known for being fantastic.
  4. Mine was doing this but its much much better now. I took the top half off as detailed in the manual (careful there is a tiny spring and hook on top of the gearbox) and lubed up the blowback slide as it felt stiff. Since then the single fire has been working fine except for the odd occasion. Il have to buy another Hicap or two then. If ICS work fine il go for them as theyre 450 capcity.
  5. The standard mag it came with fits fine but i have a chinese copy M16 mag and that won't work in the gun. The hole where the mag catch slots into on the magazine is too high up so the feed tube on the hop isnt far enough down to engage the spring release on the magazine. If that makes sense to anyone! A question to those who have theirs now. What make of magazines are you using that work fine? I need to buy some hicaps as i don't own any armalites. Cheers
  6. I got mine and have the same to say. The semi mode doesnt seem all that reliable. Sometimes needs switching to auto for a few shots then back. I've lubricated the bolt slide on mine after fetching it apart and it seems better. The hop nozzle on mine is slightly out of line making fitting mags tricky too, it's getting better now ive put a few in and out so im hoping it will sort itself out after a while.
  7. Likewise I hate this every time i order something its a gamble as to wether or not it will actually turn up
  8. Im not holding much hope of seeing mine today in all honesty. City Link rarely manage to deliver parcels to us.
  9. Oww i have to go to work at 6pm. I want it to come now so i have time to play with it before work
  10. 06:08 Friday, July 13, 2007 Arrived at Delivery Branch Current Status: These goods have successfully arrived at the branch ready for delivery. It's a matter of hours now
  11. I think i will speak on behalf of all the LWA customers when i say thankyou! I've never had a retailer go to so much trouble and provide such good reliable communication.
  12. Im getting really excited now I wants it nooooow! Knowing they are in the UK is just teasing.
  13. Am i right that the standard rail is 20mm and the Star is 19mm ? Or something to that effect.
  14. Oh :s Hmm Acog replicas are cheaper than Susats... Look forward to seeing pics of how they look on top of the SA80 Edit : Wasn't this just a rumor that was proved untrue?
  15. Are the military actually going to replace it ? Will they really spend all that money for no great benefit?
  16. Sounds like spin to me. If the guns were that bad they wouldn't be sent. And besides they come with 12 month warranties from UK retailers. (I mean this in referance to LWA not RSOV)
  17. I second that motion. LWA have been the best retailier i've ever dealt with. Amazing comms from Scott, always replys quick and has been honest the whole time. I look forward to dealing with them again
  18. Ah well i should be getting mine in the next couple of weeks *Hugs LWA*
  19. I dont understand how some are shipping and ASW / Action Hobbies say that the factory isn't sending any. The two don't add up.
  20. Excellent review, very funny and entertaining to read. Delivery companies are the same out there as here then i see. Good luck getting the gun working perfectly mate.
