The problem with my friends R85 turned out to be the motor, the small sector gear On the motors shaft had ground away against the bevel gear. What motors are compatible with the R85? Do rsov sell one that could be used?

that maybe the same problem as my friends R85, It sounds like it but we will have to disassemble the lower gearbox to find out. I haven't even disassembled mine befor so im not very sure on how to do it. is there a guide somewhere?

My friend liked my R85 so much he got 1 himself, he received it from gunner airsoft about 1 week ago, it was the second production run. He has put no more than 2 hi caps through it and its broken. It started making a weird grinding noise coming from the gearbox and now it doesn't shoot at all. We disassembled it as far as taking the upper gearbox off, there appears to be no signs of wear at all on the piston. I tried putting his upper gearbox on my lower gearbox and it didn't make the grinding noise so it must be something in the lower gear box thats causing the problem. Does any1

Both the R85's i got from RSOV are still working flawlessly, 1 has taken alot of abuse (stupidly long periods of full auto, loads and loads of round passed through it ect....) from people who have never used an aeg before and its still working fine (apart from the cocking handle coming of but abit of lock tight sorted that ). how can i tell if mine is the first production run or second?

I have figured out why the jinggong mags don't fit int the R85. the Hop ups BB feed cannot push the plastic bit that stops the bb's coming out the mag out the way, this stops the mag reaching the mag catch and locking in. The plastic bit that stops the BBs coming out needs to be filled down a small amount on the top angled part that allows the hopup to slide it back. It only needs to be filled about half a millimeter further back so the hopup can slide it back when it comes into contact with the top of the plastic catch. This mod is very easy and tock me about 2 minutes

Skrim Report Both R85 worked perfectly all day with the blow back ENABLED the whole time, we but approximately 3000 rounds through each gun. They both cronod at at about 310-320 straight out of the box. The first game was a 4 hour woodlands match in wich the r85 were out ranging alot of other guns. i didnt find the weight to be a problem at all, when you shoulder the gun it becomes weightless and very easy to aim. whats the different between the ca and jing gong mags? is there any way of modding the JG mags to work?

i got mine to day, i got hit with import tax and had to pay 22.20 GBP. i went to the parcel force depo and payed it there and picked the gun up aswell, i cant help but feel like i payed them to do a job that i then payed again to do myself Everything feels rock solid from the huge amount of metal, iv used the real sa80 and i would say its 99% the same apart from the weight and trades. Is there a limit to how much you can spend (my order is around the 250 GBP mark) if u just use your debit card? because i would prefer to do this rather having to verify bank accounts and stuff.

Really? then why has it been messing me around, asking to verify my bank account by finding out the value of 2 small deposits to my bank, totaling less then 1 GBP and entering them into the website.
