It currently has a phillips head machine screw as a thumbscrew, but it works.

The cam that moved the LED up/down was stuck so I had no vertical adjustment. Now that it's better I'll drop some loctite in the hole and put the original screw in.

Replica 551s are terrible. I have spent countless hours fixing it. 551s also eat battery very fast.

Mine's never had a battery problem, and this is the first G&P one I've ever had a problem with. Thank goodness for my father, who helped me diagnose my problem quickly.

Problem is, I've been eyeing some replica Aimpoints and want one now...
