Has anyone managed to get the front end completely off ? the 416 has its own version of a delta ring, that holds the outer barrel to the upper reciever thats the part im stuck at .. i think it just threads on.. but i cant get on it enough to undo it... proper done up tight.

another good mod is reduced current loss youve direct wired but a failure point is the electric cut off, you can take apart the contact switchnlock, and bend the metal contact on the electic cut off so that it pushes much harder agasint the other part of the contact, thus a better connection. Ive had seveal guns on where the quick change power loss was actually at this point not the quick change system in the stock.

zereck, try unscrewing the stock tube by 1 turn then retighten the locking ring. The M120 might be a little to tight for it to compress, the amount of coils on the m120 doesnt offer much leway for when the stock tube is tightened all the way in .. it removes the 2mm gap it needs for it to be an effortless compress, that or shimming might be tight, make sure when you test the shimming you overtighten the gearbox screws. Then test. If they still turn freely then your good to go its better to be a little looser than a little too light.. oooo errr.. :/ i use a feeler guage on the bevel gear

TMs all ligit, which was why the RECCE was originally delayed back in the day licensing issues so they couldnt release, ie madbull stepped in and said we want some pennies please, all of there stuff including the Daniel defense RIS is now all licenced.. albiet in japan... the scar grip is narrower at the top. i would imagine a m4 would fit but it maybe loose. You can make it fit by removing any offending material that's in the way. But the lower will have to remain the recoil shock specific lower.

Depends on the part, costs and availability. The initial batch of surus kits and lowers was ordered by echigoya.. they brought all of them. ARS wanted many pennies for a batch of stock tubes and lowers for me... i just couldnt justify it. So i just ordered the occasional one from echi to keep in stock. i batch order the smaller single items though as the cost for them isnt to bad. unfortuantly im not getting replys from ARS, so whats out there at the moment is all thats left until they make more, all echigoyas custom items are made by them, so if there listings are out they will be until ars start making again.

Pretty damn thin... like i say, id remove this .. and the pin from the stock.. then offer up the pin to the holes, id make sure it actually fits in first. if it does fit the od isnt the issue but length must be, so then i would shorten the pin. The benifit of shortening the pin on the stock would be making a low cost aeg stock compaitble with all your recoil shocks. if memory serves its only about 1mm thick so at most youd be shaving 0.1 - 0.5 out of each hole. if its flapping that much youll need whole mm's ..

i think all fit but you have to remove the pin on the stocks and shorten it. those it wont be poking out and the adjustment lever flapping.

range = power + spin. logically.. could be just bad timing, and your rubber is worn now so needs more hop to put more spin on it, could be the weather cuasing the rubber to be harder thefore less tack therefore less spin. Could be the power levels, are you sure they arnt less now than they where before? Thoretically things skrink in winter, so cold environments should give you a lower fps reading during game play than on the at home chrono. lots of potentially effecting factors.

You could try winding the stock tube out by one turn.. Too much spring compression can cuase lock ups on m4 next gens. Unfortunatly becuase the back of the gearbox is removable it also means it can be installed differently each time.. ie you could wind it in all the way, over time as threads wear and loosen up a little theres the chance of it winding in more, also no one really knows the exact postion it should be i think i had a new sopmod one time and on first taking apart i could actually wind it in a turn.. leading me to believe the natural position for the stock tube is not fully wound i

youd be better off getting more out of the 7.4v.. like gold contact set, high torque motor. Its difficult to say without knowing what mods your gun has had.. but if you take a standard 416... fit a lipo adaptor and 7.4 battery.. i daubt very much that youll suffer any lockups.. my usually emails consist of .. ive installed a m120 spring and my gun keeps locking up on my standard 8.4v tm packs. although the grips are different the fitment should be the same .. at the end of the day both are new v2 both have the same long motors, the same pinions and gear sets.. as with any motor and or grip change youll have to play around with motor hieght.

hmm i dont usually get single lock up after any guns ive worked on haha, if i had to guess its either A: not pulling the trigger to the back full, unfortunatly triggers arnt like real world triggers you need to pull it to the back and let it disconect its self... you cant just pull it and release it yourself.. it needs to go all the way to the back then click as the gears lift the cut off and the cut off lifts the trigger block. Thus garrentying enough electricity for a full complete gear cycle. Seems as though theres some new faces maybe this airsoft 101 tip is whats needed. B: over shimmi

Those normal v2 spectres are pretty rare you must have got in quick. Ive been told i only get one haha! difficult for me to sell via the shop if thats the case. Its funny that hes asking for reviewers.. of a product which is out of stock and limited 1 per customer, which will sell out any way the moment he lists any. like it needs extra promotion Ill do a video review when i get them. If they ever did an mp5 next gen, i would sleep with it at night...

Apprently i have a spectre in the post, but its for normal v2 guns. But frank promises a next gen one and that it is ready. Theres limited supplies unfortunatly of the components for the spectre so its limited stocks. Frank seems to be trying hard to get it sorted and hes been reply to me quite regular on emails which is a big step up from aws days of the past.. Its weird we all know that normal v2 would sell better.. BUT i dont know a single sopmod owner other than the die hards if it aint broke still running original 4 years later, that wouldnt fit a spectre, even if its just for a more effc

yeah one version is for next gens the other for normal m4s. I heard they was out of stock. i literally havent heard from anyone who has one yet. Hopefully the BTC spectre will be hear soon and i can get a review done of that. Not that stock levels will be much better of that either.
