  1. Or a metal body :F

With more seriousness. Metal body would cure the creakiness you're going to get, sometime in the near future. I really don't like that scope on that gun personally, but if you want to stick with it, how about low scope mounts and a proper claw type mount? They tend to be more secure in my experience.

  2. If you want feedback on why it washed out, this might explain it. It would appear the whole gun is fairly dark, and the flag itself, is rather bright in contrast. So when you told the camera you wanted to take a photo of the gun, by pointing the focal point at the gun/shady part of the ground, it decided it was going to have to make the whole picture brighter, to get a better contrast of the focal point. Hopefully that makes sense. Anyway. If you want to recreate the same shot, try focusing on the flag, and moving the camera to the same place without refocusing. If your camera auto-focuses on a half click, then half click the shutter button, then hold it down and move the camera to to the point where you want to shot to be composed. If you have a fancy camera, you can often turn off the auto focus. Or even play around with the exposure time to get it looking right. Less harsh lighting may be something to consider. Try taking the picture is a softer light environment. Maby only with the 1 light source, like a 40watt bulb. These are only some techniques, they may or may not work. Ultimately, it's going to take patience.

As for feedback on the gun. I like what I can see. Good thing the flag and the AK both are beaten up. Makes them seem like they should be together. : )

  3. It makes the trigger the worst thing I've ever had to reassemble. The leaf spring has to be bent mm perfect to work. The only thing the full auto lever does is allow an extra mm of movement in the trigger, and somehow that makes it all work :S It can easily all go wrong, and in my personal experience, the kick is poo. I've only worked on one Prokiller though, they might not all be as old and trashy as the one I fixed.

Bottom image clealy shows a compensator built into the barrel, not the slide.

Other images make it look like a very long 1911. You'll never build something that has both features.

I'd say this for a short version:

Metal frames gonna be difficult unfortunately. You could always get any old one and polish both the slide and frame to make them match.

Truth is, you'll never make an airsoft gun (from currently existing aftermarket parts) that looks like that. Not least because you've shown us 5 different images, where the gun seems to keep no set apearance. This sort of thing probably belongs in project discussion by the way.

  5. I had to whack my delta ring in a vice to get it tight enough to stop wobbling. May well be that. Try doing up the screws on the block that attaches the barrel to the receiver first. If you haven't.

    Nice gun as well.

  6. Well if you want the answer to that, I love the G36 platform. Very nice gun to hold and use. And it's got a v3 gearbox. Just so happens I've pimped the billio out of my G36 internally, and I love every inch of it. But being a person who likes lowcaps, I have to carry a few. 8 Prefereably. Carrying 8 G36 mags Is damn awkward! Carrying 8 stanag mags is not only cheeper (I already have an armalite) but they are thinner, and fit in the pouches I already have. They also seem to feed better at 30rd/s. I like the mag changes too, but I do get the feeling they're going to fall out, which is a worry, but I'll put up with it.

Five-sEvEn, Love the silencer and flat top rail. Very nice guns.

  7. must be the mod for the working bolt catch.

    i wanted to do that.

aint had the time nor money to do it tho.

Money? You realize you can just file a lump on the original bolt catch to make it work. Well, I guess that cost's if you don't have a file or a hacksaw...

    Ninja'd :(

  8. Like this

    Clicky

That's how they come. The self retaining body pins can be strange at first. I forget they are there and tryed to pull the ekection port cover through the front one.

Sorry for the size and poor quality of the photo. Took it with the broken screened camera, the good ones in another country.
