  1. Wow that's like a fusion of everything! You got Magpul x Noveske x KAC! Nice! haha
  2. You might just want to wait for the short mag to be released. It should be quite soon, but don't count on it being cheap. I've heard they'll be around the USD40 ballpark.
  3. Ok guys, let's keep things back on topic. My KRISS saw it's second field day on Saturday. Again, performed remarkably. Had a couple of bolt jams which I noticed are most likely due to me being lazy and not staggering/zig-zagging the bbs correctly in the mag when loading. Still working on jam clearing ergonomics for the KRISS... ha ha ha
  4. I'm trying to find out if there are any differences in the different serialized versions. So far I know there are HK, TW, US, and EU versions. I'm curious to see if there are any internal component and/or power differences. Was surprised to see that you have an HK one (I'm assuming you live in Belgium). Indeed. We try to be as unbiased as we can because we're not trying to sell you anything. That and we've got quite a pool of experienced airsofters here More on the cool down of the KRISS. I know it seems only natural to compare it with the KWA MP7, but in reality, it's a
  5. Point7: Lol .. the paint is a bit tacky IMHO. but to each his/her own. Edit: Noticed your Kriss ends with a serial "HK". Did you purchase yours from an HK dealer?
  6. Indeed, before applying Strikeforce
  7. I think you mean recoil spring? It's the weak snap back that prevents the sticky bolt. Pulling the bolt all the way back just enables it to snap back quicker with more tension in the recoil spring. So a strong recoil spring should do the trick. However, I've now applied Strikeforce lubricant to all the travelling parts (except the nozzle, still use silicone for that) and the sticky bolt is no longer an issue. Also worth mentioning this also lightened the trigger pull.
  8. I believe only KWA USA Kriss Vectors are warrantied (serial ends with a "US" and comes with a blue tag), and only in the US. International distributors that are selling ex-US models (like mine ending with serial "HK" and comes with a green tag) may not be warrantied by KWA or KWA directly (ie self-warrantied by the distributor, but most likely not). Better check before you buy. That said, does anyone have an idea what is covered under the KWA USA warranty? Is wear and tear covered and for how long? EDIT: I also want to say, before we jump on the hate bandwagon, let's see what t
  9. So for all you who need to feel more recoil, there's apparently a coming out for the KWA KRISS.
  10. Darn! I guess you got one that shouldn't have passed QC! Can you post some pictures of how the nozzle broke? Thanks.
  11. That's very strange that your front nozzle would snap off while pulling out your bolt carrier assembly! Did you remove the upper and lower first as in the instructions before pulling out the assembly? Was it shooting before you tried to disassemble it?

Haven't gotten my light kit yet, so this will have to do . Also added a Magpul RVG and a Noveske K9
  14. Just remember to feed some silicone into your propane mix. Green gas has silicone in the mix, this is probably why it's a bit better, but from what I heard, they're very similar gases, if not the same.
  15. Apologies for not being clearer. I only use green gas, so the FPS figure I posted before is with green gas at about 19 degrees celcius ambient temperature.
  16. Really? This I didn't know. So I'm assuming Marui also got it wrong with their MP7 (as it's the same size as the KWA)? According to Kriss' website (which also has the specs of the KWA), the specs look similar. slight differences in length but height-wise the same. So I guess it's pretty close to 1:1? Oh I did notice my KRISS' serial ends with "HK", which I'm assuming is for the HK market. Anyone have a US version of the KWA Kriss? I've noticed on the website there are slight differences, specifically to the safety selector which has a "S" and "F" vs the "HK" version which only ha
  17. Good Question. So far I've just been sticking them in my Mayflower UW Gen IV rig. Haven't thought about any proper pouches yet. I need to get some more mags first. I'm thinking of going with more short mags when they come out so that may chance my set up again.

Yes I believe it is a 16mm CW. Same as on my KSC USP Tactical.
  19. I run KSC 0.25g. @340-350FPS, I don't think 0.3g is necessary. You'll definately see the drop in velocity.
  20. I would say yes on the recoil aspect.
  21. I'd say the KRISS is accurate up to about 30 meters. The double tap feature is a neat feature, but I haven't found a relevant use for it thus yet in airsoft.
  22. Just got back from a day spend skirmishing with the KRISS. Overall I would say I'm very pleased with its performance throughout the day. I only had one jam resulting from a sticky bolt. If you don't charge the bolt right it could get left in the half position and there isn't a forward assist like on AR15s. This was actually great since it got me thinking about the ergonomic efficiencies of clearing a jam for the KRISS. Performance-wise, simply-put, I was very impressed. KWA did a fanstastic job at regulating equal amounts of gas on each shot, and along side a well tuned hop up, the KRISS
