Ladies and gentlemen, the product of America's current education system. A complete lack of morals and integrity. Please put me out of my misery. Guys like this are why I quit working in Airsoft retail. On the Up side, here is a DMR I built from a PTW platform. Currently working on a Mk12 Mod 1 for myself.
  3. Just painted this guy today, its lobbing .30s at 400 FPS. So far I just can't get it past about 200 feet. I'm gonna try replacing the stock nozzle and cylinder head. Never had these issues with my TM/G&P EBR Trigger response is better on this one though, I can almost outshoot PTWs on semi. EDIT: The G&P kit I had used the comic sans script, I sold it to a guy in the UK back in 2009. I miss that gun. If I could find its current captor I'd be willing to negotiate a prisoner exchange.

    WE XDM

I recently bought and recieved both the 4.5" and 3.8" models. Build quality is not on TMs level, but its CLOSE. The trademarks (incomplete) are not really that well done and don't quite match what is on my real XDms but the replicas are very close. I had minor paint issues on the 4.5" but the 3.8" seems to be much better. They shoot well, and seem well built internally. Not much else to say until they've had a couple thousand BBs down the pipe.
  5. I added a bushing inside the outer barrel/silencer, The inner is about as fixed as possible without causing friction and loading issues. The light hammer spring decreases trigger pull weight but not the distance. Trigger pull length is almost a non issue for accuracy, I just pull it all the way back and hold just before it breaks, then aim and finish the lst few hundredts of an inch. I think the problem is the crappy rubber used in the hop up, and partially its design. Set screw based designs have been a bane of mine since the VFC M82A1, and several classic guns with Escort style hop-ups. I ha
  6. Integrally suppressed KJW MK1. I downed the hammer spring to limit gas flow and quiet it down even more, still shoots about 320 FPS. It is at least as quiet as a TM MK23 but not as accurate, in my opinion this being much more compact make up for the loss in accuraccy and since I run .30g BBs in all my guns its as accurate as it needs to be.
  7. Yeah its a full metal build. You might be able to grind the plastic frame down inside and insert a peice of metal to mount the screws... Its tough since the slide recoils into it so closely though. I guess you could remove also the bottom tapered portion of the slide if you fit the wooden grip closely enough, that was my backup plan if the screws stuck up to high. I'll get some video next week from my helmet cam, the only other camera device I have besides an iPhone... The gas efficiency really isn't too bad with AS guts and short stroked slide travel. Still, single stack style mags cool d
  8. I used three countersunk screws in the dust cover, then sanded it and applied epoxy to make sure it didn't go anywhere. I had some other ideas but this was the one with the fewest parts able to come loose and was least likely to have a buildup of tolerances and not fit right.
  9. This one was a load of fun to build, 5 hours from when it showed up on my doorstep to being done.
  10. The PRI hand guard is a real PRI. Heres a not so short parts list: Systema 2009 SCK M4A1 Systema Red Cylinder 520 fps Systema 12V Batteries Empire Airsoft Hop Up Adjuster Airsoft Surgeon 18" Steel Outer Barrel Airsoft Surgeon Anti-cant Device King Arms PRI Flip Up Front Sight King Arms OPS INC 12th Model Supressor King Arms Quick Detach Bipod Mount King Arms Harris Style Spring Loaded Bipod Prime WA/PTW Gas Buster Charging Handle G&P SPR Type PTW Grip G&P UFC Railed 30mm Scope Mount G&P Leupold M3 Illuminated Scope Replica G&P OPS INC SPR Flash Hider PRI Gen
  11. My gear, I'm curently deployed so its not being used for airsoft, but I'm still playing with it...
  12. Our sniper is in there too. Somewhere...
  13. My 2 real steel FN guns from my tour in Iraq. The M240 is a Bravo model but I removed the heatshield because it didn't sit in my turret properly with it on. After that its my Trigger Happy M240 and Daytonagun GBB M249.
