just got the open bolt for about a week now. im running it on my own mix of gas, pretty similar to winter gas i guess. since its a little in between the power of 134 and gg. i already replaced the hop rubber with a TM rubber from my meu pistol. its not broken or anything but since they are identical might as well use the TM rubber. on my gas it shoots around 310 at .2 and on gg around 400ish. its a little low compared to previous WE models or on closed bolt. other than a slightly low fps this rifle work great! hop is very controllable and it shoots straight even on .2 bbs. very consistent

socomgear is just a rebranded WE. they put markings and jazz it up with accessories, but the internals are just the same. the N4 has the same internals as a WEm4 or wetti or west and east.

i have a v1 wem4 so everything about it doesnt work. i tried gluing some spacers beneath the catch so it makes more contact with the mag. but the spacer i put got eaten away by friction. better if you just bend the mag catch. when you say the hop is impressive, can you give us measurements? how accurate is it within 50yards,100 yards and beyond. what gas you use and weight of bbs. thanks!

julietcharlie, i managed to make me my own uni direction rod, i used the existing rod and modified the black thingy that holds the blowback piston. i bet if you use this coupled with your rocket valve your fps consistency will be much tighter.drop by anytime at my house so i can show you.

i custom fitted a wa ambi selector into my we m4. got the idea from julietcharlie

lost mine a long time ago, and i did use i shaft as a replacement for that tiny bearing. i used a shaft from a dremel grinding wheel. the only diff with ur craft bead is that i cut the top part diagonally so it would recenter itself from the pressure of the knurled ring. |\ |_| kinda like that julietcharlie is using the same thing, i told him about the shaft upgrade when he lost the bearing. if anyone is interested i can take pics of it.

i have a v1 we m4 with no markings but with 5 v2 magazines. i am very happy with it, it broke down a couple of times but it worked when i needed it. here are common problems that i managed to fix permanently. i use .2bbs when set on 300fps .25 if over 450fps 1. over hop since i have a v1 hop i turned the v1(lathe) inner barrel so it can fit the v2 hop rubber. now the reason why it overhops cause there is too much material peeking in the inner barrel. even if its on off position there is enough rubber to catch the bb thus it over hops. i sanded it down till there is no rubber le

ur rifle shoots once when you pull the trigger and then another shot when you release it? check ur trigger, on the pic above the right edge of the trigger might be rounded off because of wear. that part cant stop the hammer anymore specially if you upgrade to a tsc steel hammer

or you can tighten or loosen it using the collar, there are 2 small nubs on it similar to aegs.

a torch emits higher heat than a candle, i was able to remove mine using a torch.

a friend asked me to take a look at his agm, the stock hop worked well after i replaced the damn masking tape and added some material on the hop prongs. it now shoots like a tm aeg on tight barrel, so no need to replace it really.

AGM hop up is WAY better than my WE! does anyone here have an idea on how to improve our hop? agm is 80% better in accuracy compared to WE.

i modded the stock we charging handle and its still intact. i just shaved a little bit of material so the bolt wont slam on the charging handle when firing.

im from the philippines and from the day i ordered from AB my package arrived just 2 days after. he did not asked money for the rubber seal that i was looking for but he said he included one i guess for free in my package which isnt true. i didnt received any replacement rubber seals i just ignored it cause its supposed to be free anyway.

all of my mags has 2.6mm walls too... wetti where in the world can i get rubber seal replacements for my mags????

WETTI all of my five mags are leaking already! i opened it up and all of my mags rubber seals are torn to bits, this is the big rectangular seal. i also noticed that the corners of the rectangular magazine cover are being bent outwards by the pressure inside the mag. i only fill my mags with taiwan greengas and only fill it for 12secs. you told me to contact AB about it but he had no seals for sale. but he also told me that he gave me a free seal replacement but didnt got any. my WE m4 is a tad better than WA in terms of price and durabilty but exploding and leaky WE mags render
