I'm getting a weird performance dip about halfway through a C02 mag. Like it shoots nice and snappy for a few rounds on semi, then starts shooting soft, then snappy again. It's not cooldown since shooting a burst or two will actually improve performance. Also, I picked up some Crossman C02 cartridges and they are significantly fatter than the generic ones I got from Evike. Some mags fit them OK, but the ones I had to dremel before need to be bored out even more.

I'm going to be using the WE more often and in longer games, and REALLY need a stockpile of replacement/upgrade parts. It's going to suck if something breaks and I have to wait for a part that's sold out. What should a WE shooter have in his parts bin?

I haven't seen the movie in a while, but maybe he still had a round chambered.

This: A silly but kinda cool scene from Equilibrium (2002); in which the main character slides two loaded magazines toward a group of enemies where they stand upright on their weighted bases. When our hero runs out of ammo, he simply ejects his empty mags and slams his pistols down on the fresh ones for the ultimate tactical reload. Luckily they were not only upright but facing the right way. He then commences with the killin'. You can buy your own here, but it only comes with a "normal" mag.

I'm tempted to 'mod' some ACU cut pants like that--only ghetto style. Cut a hole with scissors, jam UR Tactical kneepad in, glue to ACU knee insert for stability. Five minutes, max. Now all you need are those weeble-wobble magazines from Equilibrium.

Because Chris Costa told us so. Mine just came in the mail, so I'm no better. I was thinking of using them for C02 mags, so they would need to be removed entirely to fill the mag.

Does anyone know if Ranger floorplates might work with WE mags, and should I try the RS version or the airsoft one? I don't have any AR mags around to compare these with.

I've had mine for a few months, and the mesh badly compromised my depth perception and ability to spot the enemy at a distance. It was usable indoors as long as there was plenty of light, and kind of OK in mountainous terrain where rocks and boulders are the only cover, but completely useless in the woods. I actually did dremel out the mesh, then epoxied in some impact rated clear lenses; visibility is greatly improved but they do fog up. I managed to squeeze a small fan in for testing, and some kind of barrier between the nose/mouth area and the eyes would probably help.

I fielded my gen 1 WE on Sunday with a C02 nozzle, 6.025 chrome barrel and four brand new C02 mags courtesy of Evike. When I went for my first mag change, I noticed the floorplate had fallen off somehow, so I removed the remaining ones for the rest of the game. I have since bent them slightly to lock more positively to the mag, but of course it makes them tougher to remove in the field. I was pleasantly surprised by the range and accuracy, If you want to stash C02 powerlets in a shotshell holder so you can reload in the field, I strongly suggest finding a better tool for tightening/re

I realize that the gun is going to cost me several times the purchase price in the long run, but for now I just want the parts on hand to keep it running on propane while I get used to a gasgun. I will definitely want the AEG compatible hopup unit/tightbore and every other worthwhile internal upgrade IF I end up using this gun for games, but I'm trying to keep it as basic as possible for starters. Hence the $12 metal hopup and Chinese bolt. With that in mind, how should I upgrade the nozzle and any other prone-to-breaking part? I can do without the NPAS for the moment since 400-450 FPS

At least you can specify EMS shipping instead of EBB sitting on your order for two weeks then shuffling it out via air mail. Ehobby has the mag listed for $18 (currently out of stock), but thanks to the bloated weight they're about $37 each shipped. Factor in another $7-9 each for a seal kit, plus the hassle of installing it--and the $50 GHK mags start to look pretty good. Anyone else have the AGM mags in stock?

I can't bring myself to spend that much on parts for a clone gun. I'm sure I will eventually; but for now all I want is some basic "skirmishability" and reliability on propane. If I went with this part for $60 and waited for the clone metal bolt; what should I do about the nozzle? Do I even need the NPAS if I'm OK with the current FPS? So far I'm ordering the gun, a cheap metal hopup and a few GHK mags. I'd like to get it from Ehobby but they don't have the RIS model--can I fit any old rail system or does it have to be made for the WA?
