Will, you first disassemble the front part. Then you will see the hop up mechanism, disassemble it. Part #6 in the hop up mechanism is the part you want to put some tape on. I cut little strips of electrical tape and wrapped it around part #6. Only wrap around the part where it touches the hop up bucking. I also put little square cut of e-tape on the hop up bucking, only tape the part where it makes contact with part #6. At first I was going to put some soldering on to part #6, but I thought it might melt part #6 so I didn't do it. Hope this helps.

After you shoot for a while the buffer tube does get loose. I used a flat metal plate to tighten it. What are you using to tighten it, maybe the tool you are using can not get enough torque to spin it. What I did with the hop up was that I used electrical tape to tape the little arm that press on the hop up bucking, and also putting some tape on the little ball thing on the exterior of the hop up bucking to have a better contact. It worked really will for me. Before this mode, my hop up was ineffective and BBs were rolling out from the barrel. So give the mode a try. Nice set up b

It looks awesome man. Yeah, what RIS is that and does it fit perfectly? If you have time, please more pics with the RIS without the cover and vertical grips.

Yea, 330fps with .2bb. I don't think it's going to work on the M4 shooting at ~480fps with .2bb. Let's see if they are going to tweak it to make it work efficiently on the m4.

    That would be awesome.

I took my gun apart yesterday to clean and re-grease, my band still looks good and I didn't see any wear on it.

Any time. I used the teflon oil that I used on my AEG, it was heavier than my spray silicon oil. I probably had put through ~5000 shots already with propane.

You have to lube the cup specifically with lots of oil and let it sit for a day or two before shooting it. If too much oil is on there then clean some off of it before shooting. When I checked mine it was very dry and I could see a fracture mark, so put lots of oil on it to make it softer and increase the tolerance point. Because of the lube the cup seems very strong on mine. Also, when they send my recall parts, they included two piston cups. Both of them where very dry. I think that is the main cause of the cup issues people are having.

If you have issues with the piston cup, then put some silicon oil on it and let it sulk for a day or two. That helped me.

KJW M4 all the way! I am having so much fun with this gun, it seems like it gets better everyday. I will probably not going to buy an aeg ever again, GBB is just so much fun.

I think I will wait one more month to see if there is going to be a after market inner barrel from laylax. It is probably going to be cheaper than the PDI one. But I will probably going to give in and get the PDI VSR-10 inner barrel.

Do y'all think the PDI 01 Inner Barrel for Western Arms (WA) M4A1 Series (324mm) will work on the KJW M4. Here is the link: http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airs...il?prodID=24720 Also, has anybody tried the PDI 01 6.01mm Precision Barrel for Marui VSR-10 on their KJW M4 yet. Do yall think is it possible to modify a VSR-10 hopup bucking to work on the KJW M4.
