TM and JG aug mags are compleatly interchangable.
To make a STANAG mag fit an AUG you need to cut the AUG magwell larger. as well as cutting a hole in the mag for the mag releace.
if nobody noticed the AUG mag is longer than the STANAG (front to back) and so you need to seat the STANAG mag further forward in the aug than normal. This means that you need to brace the back of the mag or magwell to make a STANAG fit, and not fall out.
I was trying to make a block to sit in the back of the aug magwell to make the STANAG mag sit in the right place AND have the mag releace come round the side of the STANAG mag. That way you dont need to cut the mags at all. And you get a truly STANAG AUG.
(This prodject is dropped at the moment, due to other prodjects.... and life)

Wow i forgot about this thread.... (painfull memories of me being a NOOB back here lol)
I am having a lot of trouble with my anti reversal latch in my academy SA80. I have fitted an XYT bevel gear with four AR cams, but it has made no difference to my the gun. So i think its the AR latch that is not working properly, but when i had the gun open it was working perfectly!
Is there a replacement part?

err, mate.... The information at the side of the screen (your name, avatar, post count ect.) are longer than your post and sig together, therefore there is a gap to make up the space.

I have had a quick gander around your other posts, and i see no gap in them either.

Hmmm, maybe try a V6 instead?
i am told its hard to get a V6 to feed properly..... and i got the MP7 gearbox for £30:P

Anyone know what weapons was used in Starship Troopers? Apparently that film holds the record for the most live rounds fired during filming
its the mortia rifle that the MI use, that the one with the shotgun benieth it.
and the mortia carbine, that officers of MI, and the pilots use.
the marksman piece was a full lenght mortia without the shotgun, but with a stupidly big scope on it.
all mortias where made from ruger mini-14s, and the shotgun was itacha M37 stakeouts
the defencive HMGs, i "think" where based on M2 brownings.
I have a mortia rifle resin replica, and am putting an MP7 gearbox into it. shame i wont have the barrel lenght of the "real" one, because of the piston sise

hmmmm, nice weapon actually. Uhm, the trigger is a bit off on the second one, doesnt quite look useable. I actually like it however.
Oh, and it would be sweet if the bottow rail went all the way to the trigger guard.

though i do aggree the front grip area would look better if the rail or grip extended over the G36 magwell shape

i havent tied a tie scince i left school 4 years ago, i forgot how
it looked better at the scirmish (i think) because some woman airsofter person tied it for me after some digital wearing schoolboy tied it the first time and then she said "man that looks rubbish, here let me"

Try to make the shotgun the same scale, you might have to use a SPAS12 shorty or shorten it yourself.
