hey bud. Darthwite has one from the same batch as you. We had some trouble with the mag feeding to begin with. After a few mags it seamed to clear up, only to return again.
We think its just a new mag has a tight spring holding the lip at the top in place (to hold in the BBs)
just wondering if you had any trouble at all??

rofl, no actually. my dad took those pictures and he has a rule against me shooting indoors.
i have to treat my house as a safe zone, no mags, no baterys ect.

back from the dead.....
breaking newz (or rather broken newz) my SA80 without upgrades has finally died. 8 scirmishes and 23,000(+/- 1,000) rounds of L85a1 fun has ended.
the gearbox is jammed up, the motor will not move when the trigger is pulled and after a few seconds a bubling sound is heard (the motor burning i think)
i am going to see if i can give it to someone to fix for me (wolf armorys is most likley atm even though they are the most expencive)
also at the same time i am looking to get a tightbore, 560 motor, new gears, and anything the mechanic sujests for added durability

and THIS is a very old dry cleaning bad that my dad used to use, but dosent anymore. So, he gave it to me to cary my DPM in. Aint that great

academy L85a1, no upgrades aprox 7000-10,000 rounds through it. still works fine.
note the RIS on the top with a blue light (second picture). broken flash hider, hollow scope, plastic body, only 225fps w/ .2g, commonly double feeds on single shot (about 7/10 of shots), short full auto bursts cause the gears to grind as the spring returnes

on the point of the STEN gun, i want a MK1 or MK3 (maby a MK2) i hate the look of the MK4 and MK5, the stock ruins it for me

also in response to the .2j limit, you would neet to play naked to fee your hits... hell i got hit square in the chunkies (when clothed) with a .4j af 2 inches and i dident even feel it.

When is ICS or TM gonna make one?
i might inform you of the alledgedly confermed roumer that ICS have a SA80 (a2) in R+D, but R+D dosent mean that it will actually be made......

and even if they do it might be illegal for us to buy it when it does.
i would recomend buying a SA80 for either mil sim (like me) and CQB airsoft (also like me) and not using it for woodland or other outdoor airsoft as the range is (on a scale of 1 to 10) pants

ed-skar nice gun m8 does it perform any well? or as bad as every1 says it is.
it chronos at 225fps and on single shot it dosent finish the cycle properly so it double feeds... the scope broke.... the selector switch gets nuged sometimes and the gun stops working..... the mags stoped feading totally at one point and i needed to 'modify' the feed tube....
oh and the barrel is looser than jordan.
but its a SA80 and i fight only in CQB so its perfect

To accomodate the massive Antartican airsofting community? Sven and Jurgen, I think they're called. Well, actually, only Sven has a gun (TM spring 92F) but Jurgen has been thinking about a TM shottie, 'cos Sven keeps shooting Jurgen every time he goes to the toilet. BB hit on the privates in sub-zero temperature. Nasty.
