  1. Ok, I've just gone through another 6 mags worth of BB's and the shots are still pretty inconsistent. I don't know how affected the REAPS bucking is by oil but I'll give it a clean and see if I can improve the consistency. For the shots that were on target, they were going a mental distance. I'm all out of green gas now so won't be able to test and tweak until next week now. Watch this space!
  2. Ok, I've not had a chance to tweak the hop to a skirmishable setting yet. Tonight, my remaining green gas will go on getting the hop set right, then I'll finally be able to tell if the REAPS is worth getting. I will say that blasting off all 7 mags in one sitting made me very satisfied in the pants though!

The XDM sits great in my giant manly hands. I'm assuming you've tried the different backstraps? I actually have a really odd tendency to use my trigger finger to press the right side mag release (I'm right handed), I can't figure it out, it seems to work better for me than using my thumb on the left side release. I guess I'm just weird!
  4. With any luck I'll be able to get some shots off before it gets dark tonight. If not I'll spend tomorrow bedding in the hop rubber. I've got a whole load of 134a left so I don't have to use all my green gas.
  5. I'll have to let it bed in for a bit first. Looks like the remaining ammo and gas I have are going on tweaking. I'm actually really annoyed at KWA, they put horrible stickers on their mags which just shred as soon as you look at them. I'm going to spend the next hour scraping the remaining bits of sticker off my mags now.
  6. My wallet is now £300 lighter in total... all for six mags and a REAPS bucking. Thank god I love this gun enough to spend that much on it!

I use a Safariland 6004 for a Glock 17 and M3 light and it fits the XDM securely. I did try it with the XDM with an M3 attached but it didn't fit.

The places with the worst wear are the top of the chamber and the outer barrel, when you reassemble the gun after a field strip the barrel can get scratched against where it slides into the frame. It is a cracking pistol with amazing range and very good performance on even 134a. However as I've probably already said in the thread, there are a few things you need to do to get the most from it. 1. Thread lock the two screws in the hop unit and the screw that secures the blowback unit into the gun. These come loose and make your hop adjustment "sloppy" and when the blowback unit comes loose,

Pics of the finish on mine. Mine's been used a lot, it's also been dropped several times and drawn/holstered a fair amount. Mines easily seen over 1000 shots. As far as leaky mags go, a dodgy O-ring on one of the release valves meant one of mine kept leaking from the release valve, but a thick coating of silicone grease sorted that out. The fill valves are all fine, touch wood.
  10. It's not so much taking it apart, more how am I going to find the tiny ball bearing if I lose it. As said, I have a terrible knack for losing that small yet vital pieces.
  11. As long as the rubber doesn't absorb oil and swell it should be an improvement over the standard rubber. I'm not looking forward to taking the hop unit apart, I have a terrible curse which causes all small parts to just vanish. One thing I'm noticing on my MP9 is that the area where the bolt catch catches is getting very worn and I'm still finding traces of metal shavings even though I've rounded off the bolt catch corners. Maybe I need to take some more off the bolt catch but I don't want to stop it working all together.
  12. 6 spare magazines and a REAPS hop rubber now on order, thanks to Mr. Hwagan for showing me a place that actually had mags in stock. A red dot and other bits are for next month, £255 for those bits above.
  13. Mine scares people from outside it's range! It's easy to push up when people run away from this little monster.
  14. I should be good then, awesome! I've just got to wait until Monday before I can order them now.
  15. I'm still on the hunt for magazines (eBay doesn't chuck up an awful lot!) and all I'm finding are KSC Taiwan versions. They're the system 7 version with the follower on the front so technically they should fit, however I've read somewhere that they don't. Is anyone able to clarify this at all? Just a few more days and then I can blow my pay on some shiny bits for my MP9!
  16. The Cmore looks nice, but my one stripped the threads on the bolts so secure it to the rail. It's a shame as it was a very nice sight. I think a T1 will probably be the best bet as the ones I've used before were pretty good.
  17. I'm looking at mine and thinking Micro T1 sight and a PEQ15 along with the ASG B&T silencer (when I can find one!). I think that'll do for me!. Hurry up payday, I need need to pimp my MP9!
  18. That looks awesome! Where did you get the tritium sights from? Also what make doctor sight?
  19. I like it! I do need a small RDS for mine, my Aimpoint M4 is a bit beefy for it! The last small red dot I had was an element MRDS and to say it was poo would be an understatement!
  20. A race for finding magazines it is then. I spoke to John from Wolf Armouries and he said he had a few people asking how much they were selling them for after they saw mine!
  21. That's very kind sir. I'll get a PM your way. Today I took it down my local to have a play and see what it's like out on the field... I think a LOT of people are going to own one soon! It was out ranging most AEGs and scaring the ###### out of everyone! One thing that blew my mind was the fact I got TEN full loads of BB's out of one fill of gas! I'm going to get another one and do it up with a extended tightbore and silencer and have me a woodland gun! EDIT: I should note this was with just one nozzle spring! Consistency was a bit hit and miss due to that but otherwise I can't wait f
  22. One of the nozzle springs got killed today. Just got to wait for payday before I can replace it.
  23. Outside it's got a nice "crack" to it, I think where I've been around gas guns a long time I'm kind of used to loud guns but still, I'm just surprised at the performance so far! I found I've got the one with the orange piston lid so I'll not worry about upgrades for a bit until it breaks. It's currently outranging my SCAR which is pretty rangy already! Just need mags and then I'll be even more happy with it!
  24. I'm having difficulty typing due to the giant throbbing erection I have going now! This thing is awesome!
