Update: After running some mags through it loosely tuning the hop-up I can say that Im happy with the tdc mod. I can easily overhop the 30g bbs I use in it. I notice that some of the bbs still curve off to the left and right but I can't say for sure if thats the wind or the fps doing that. Its far more accurate than its ever been and far more predictable. Only thing left for me to do is get some furniture for this thing, and fine tune the hop-up for the farthest and most accurate distance. Thanks again T-Hum you make quality products man.

where are my manners... thanks thum i appreciate the notes and thespeedy response.

Hey folks long time no speak. well anyways i just got my upper receiver back from T-Hum with the hop-up mod installed, I was wondering as to what does it actually do? After fiddling with my hop-up I haven't noticed any real difference in the way the arm is effect it seems to be exactly the same before i sent it out. Please can somebody who has this mod school me on how to use it effectively. Oh I also removed my shrink tubing on the arm, was that a bad idea?

thanks man what would the cost of this mod on my plastic upper be?

question folks its been a while since ive posted and within the next 3 months i plan on getting a metal upper receiver for my model... i was wondering what the price ranges on them were and where i could acquire one... this change in the rifle is due to the hop-up issue, im tired of only being able to engage targets confidently out to 70-100 feet and i would love to get t-hums hop-up fix... thanks in advance guys.

oh gawd... hello everybody long time no speak i guess... well yesterday was the first game of airsoft for the season with the group of locals i play with... had a few dames from my old job aswell as some old players. all i can say is i didnt do too good for the first the game of the season. first game i got taken out by one of the dames, and the same girl got me about 3 more times throughout the sessions we put in. i was slacking hard and i didnt even care. my boys were laughing at me, while the girls got in a few jokes from the side. out of all the games i didnt even get one kill. horrible ju

hey folks its been a long time since ive last posted anything. sorry for the lack of contact if it matters really. i was just wondering if T-Hum got that hop-up unit for sale yet, or if hes still working on it.

the only person i trust besides myself of course would be "t hum" i wonder. Update: Turns out that the suggestion of seating the floating valve properly that was presented before was the solution, being the fool that i am seems that when i installed the new floating valve, part of the old valve was still lodged inside the piston cup in such a way that i didnt even notice when installing the new one. Funniest thing is how well it worked at first even with the new valve installed over the old, with my lack of attention to detail it turns out that my discovery of this was pure luck as w

okay folks i was wondering as to how much a whole new bcg would cost... also if its possible to buy one completely assembled or am i subject to assembling it myself? regarding the status of the rifle everything is seems to be in place and the problem still seems to plague the rifle. thanks for any feedback in advance folks.

i'll certainly have to check it out. when i removed the piston cup before i didnt notice any outstanding cracks or tears in the seal just some discoloration.

after testing it without the valve today results were the same. i expected gas efficiency to be crappy but the full auto still stopped on me. i dunno what the issue could be. its so annoying to think that after about 5-6 months of use with propane i have to switch to 134a. i dont know why but something tells me it could be something with my trigger assembly... its just a feeling though.
