That two-tone. LOVE IT.
Only two-tone that's acceptable IMO
I want one.

6-shot setting sometimes fires 5 shots, gas tank is v. weak and expands over time.

A mixture of marijuana, cocaine, crack, meth, angel dust, morphine, heroine, and other strong unidentifiable drugs crushed up and rolled into a joint and smoked. First time users cope with the feeling by petting furry walls.

The second gen were meant to be a lot better than the first. Time will tell - I've probably put close to 10k rounds through mine so far and my only worries are occasionally it needs to go back in to auto and fired before going semi-auto and the wiring is a little frayed by the tamaya connector - probably from me trying to get used to fitting the battery in.
As some point I'll work out what are considered the best upgrades for when I get the battery connector rewired.
Fair enough - Bring it to the mall Would be good to see one.

It's a great setup so I don't see why not, as it applies to both threads
Loving the beard on that mannequin!

The one thing I really don't like on the G5 is the stock pistol grip. Really needs to be changed - It's way too uncomfortable.
-
I agree. There's something so incredibly utilitarian about them, almost ugly - but the aesthetic grew on me for sure. Ergonomically they're my favourite pistol.

I for one welcome our shiny new box overlords.

For anyone having problems with sticky nozzles, bolt catch or anything else involving springs, i would advise you to give it a good clean and then dont re-lube it.
I had some problems with my MP7 and it was resolved by cleaning it. This gun really doesnt need any lube at all if you use gas that has lube in it.
Also the springs in the gun are kind of weak. I hope to see some spring upgrade sets hit the market soon
This is exactly my views as well. When I lubed the gun and then used Predator gas, it ruined the bolt and I had to fully clean it. Using propane, it's absolutely fine.

Sounds like she's from South Africa/Zimbabwe to me

Not sure what you mean by this, and I've never handled or disassembled a TM MP7, but the G5's bolt/nozzle assembly works the same as every other GBB in that the nozzle is able to slide in and out of the bolt, and does so during cycling. The nozzle stays seated in the hop rubber momentarily when the bolt starts to recoil (so that the gas can keep flowing from the mag), and is pulled back into the bolt by the return spring just before the bolt goes all the way back.
It's just a particularly well-designed gas system that performs really well.
Not sure if that's what you meant?
You're right - When I was looking at the nozzle I didn't notice that it was two-parts, blame me looking at it at 2 in the morning after a long shift!

Cooldown resistance on the GHK is better. On my (Properly cleaned and lubed) MP7, the nozzle is a two-part system and sticks. On the GHK, from what I can tell as it's a WA-pattern GBBR it has a one-piece nozzle. Correct me if I'm wrong on this; but it doesn't reciprocate as the bolt travels at least. I'm guessing this means there's one less point of failure. ROF isn't that much lower after rapidly firing 3 mags either!
Range is the same as my MP7. I haven't fired enough to test accuracy yet but once I've got some .3s I'll be sure to let everyone know
Screw the haters, I'm going to HK slap this thing all the time. So fun!
Build quality is amazing. On the carbine kit I accidentally used a screw in the wrong place, which caused the plastic body to be warped and extruded if that makes sense, towards the outermost rail. The plastic had begun to turn white at the stress line and I was worried I'd messed the body up. As soon as I removed the screw the plastic returned to its original shape and does not flex at all. Considering the plastic was thin at that point I would have expected it to snap.
Recoil is definitely approaching .22 levels - More than the MP7, which has a pretty hard kick already!
The magazines, as others have said, are great. Solidly built. I did have a tiny leak but silicone oil fixed this.

Apologies if there's another topic.
Just a quick one about RedWolfAirsoft UK - I made my first order @ 1600 today and (cheekily) requested a next day delivery. Got a call 10 minutes later querying my UKARA reg number (All sorted) and the order was shipped in another 20 minutes! Top service.
I look forward to my RIF!

Got this a few weeks ago, and carbine kit arrived yesterday. It's pretty cool - Might sell the TM MP7.

Isn't there a new law in japan that is forbidding them from using 134a gas? I thought I remenber seeing that somewhere on this site.
Guess I'm glad I didn't jump immiedatly to buy one of these. Not that I don't still want one but these early adopter stories are pretty scary.
134a is IIRC banned worldwide now, as it contains CFCs. 144a is the substitute.

My friend uses double-stacked cardboard. Provides rigidity without adding too much weight, and can easily be cut to fit.
I am considering experimenting with expanding foam.

Considering the tank's in the stock, this clearly means Marui designed the M870 as an airborne weapons platform. Slap the stock and fire the entire shotgun at the enemy.

I have/had exactly the same problem. I was lubing with sillicon oil. In the end I stopped using Predator Red as apparently that's got loads of lube in it. I switched to using dry propane/144a and this seems to have resolved the issue.

Email them informing if you don't get a response by tomorrow, you'll file a paypal grievance.

Hi there,
LandWarriorAirsoft should have them. At least one or two!

Satisfying.

I have tried three types of universal holsters, and all of them hold the slide as I put the gun in the holster.
By universal holsters, do you mean ones made of nylon etc?
If you mean plastic rigid holsters, it's important to remember that TM guns aren't a direct 1:1 replica - They're eeeever so slightly larger than normal which may cause more friction than is expected. I had the same issue with my TM-based P226 that I was using with an IMI 226 holster.
