you'll be fine. My lower has a crack going down from the top and ends in the fire selector pin like half an inch long... its been there for years.

real steel M16/M4 magazine Fully loaded is 450grams... wayy to heavy. To get an idea, if you carry 4 KJ stang mags, that is equal to 6.4 thermold... (BTW, im selling 2 thermolds lol 60$ shipped for both.)

Hey guys im selling a couple of my KJ M4 mags, they are of course in great shape and hold air forever. Have too many, hardly use them. Here is a picture of them: http://oi61.tinypic.com/14mzxc3.jpg 34$ shipped edit: thats the price for each... its OBO, PM me, have more pictures of each, but they are pretty equal in use. (barely any)

KJW's materials ARE poor, the design is great though, efficient and reliable. I wont take anything else to the field with me... but its things like this that annoy me. I had moved to a 2 point sling for a few games and i guess the faux buffer tube couldn't take the weight of the rifle on the buttstock, which is ridiculous. I fixed it with some JB weld, wrapped it in electrical tape to hide it and went to a 1 point sling again....

Yea, i bought a falcon bucking with my also falcon TBB 363mm 6.01 knowing the couple of comments about it in this forum where poor, but expecting the best. After 5 games, I can say the performance IS an upgrade over the stock, but the nub is simply too thick like you say... with the dial all the way down, i still slightly over hop 0.28s shooting 2.3 J (the M4 length barrel, stock V2 valve) i was hoping it will break in a bit more and over hop less, but the break in period was quick. It seems to climb from 0-100ft, maxing out at 4 inch higher at 75ft, then flatting out at 100 and staying fl

No, the KJ M4 has its own cut, a vsr 10 inner will not work.

Yea, its really funny my gun would shoot sluggish, burst in semi and expel all the gas in the mag too when it was pretty new i remember... i cleaned the trigger assembly and was fixed instantly, never again. I think its the parts settling in and the junky thick factory grease... the dirty grease must be full of paint and chips of metal fragments as the new parts settled, remove that and replace it with some good ol super lube. Sorry for quickly suggesting the worst, I didnt think the gun was new, if i knew, i would have remembered i had my issues when new too. Best of luck with the KJW

For the not locking back, check the BCG, maybe its worn in the are where the bolt catch locks it back... and what do you mean with "bolt failure"? for double tap you mean: press trigger, fire, release, fires again? it could just be a dirty trigger group or something more serious like a worn disconnector..

Why are you guys getting so defensive? KJW is the best system out there, but its not the best, the V2 update is evidence of that. Paul, i have an answer for you: Some newer mags have thinner silver tabs for better compatibility with the V2 bolt (so it wont push up the bolt catch too much and catch the nozzle) or the magazine is old and it's spring is worn... possibly for leaving it loaded for extended periods of time? or its low on gas (and/ or its a cold day) and the bolt doesn't cycle ALL the way back and lock. If you check your tabs and they are indeed thinner, you can epoxy them to

im not understanding you roman either... when you release the charing handle, it will go back, being pushed by the bolt carrier, which is itself being pushed by the buffer spring... there is a spring in place already... you mean make the charging handle go back when the bolt catch is engaged? how is that realistic? no AR does that? theme, what you want can be easily done by you tapping the mag for HPA (and getting an HPA rig) and then making something like this: this is essentially a hi cap for GBBR mags...

i had the EXACT same problem, as i also had a madbull (well, china clone) DD and a G&P nut... and i also did the same as hut.. i had a bunch of #14 o rings from my AEG days, they are a bit small so i cut 2/3 of two and put them around the barrel after screwing the nut. Then came in the RIS, so when i tightened the six screws they pressed on the rubber "spacers". It was more than perfect when i was done... The reason for this problem is the G&P nut is thinner than the AEG one.... end result and more pr0n:

Its mixed with CQB-R parts.. but yea, thats the M4A1 14.5 barrel... what i did is i removed part B4. Its made of steel as opposed to the rest of the barrel that seems to be aluminum, and it being so far forward, once removed, it does lighten it. http://www.ar15barrels.com/profiles.shtml Being so thin, basically the barrel becomes a "lightweight". You might think it looks bad as the first half would be government profile and then it becomes super thin, but the transition is hidden by the gas block... it looks pretty good.. and aggressive

I have a Madbull Mk 18 RIS clone on my KJ, the nut didn't twist past the half mark for some reason too; even though the are both supposed to be AEG threading... Anyways, I bought i think the last remaining G&P DD nut anywhere and it screwed in perfectly.. here is the en result... My KJ has changed quite a bit since too, got a troy BUS set, XTM hand stop, VTAC QD mount, CTR stock, TG pistol grip, T1 micro, MS2, VTAC gas block, etc.. Also, I removed the sleeve on the outer barrel, technically making it as thin as a "lightweight" RS barrel.. looks aggressive too with the phantom F

Eventful weekend KJW M4-wise.... a long post, as a lot of stuff happened, its worth the read as [spoiler alert] surprise surprise! guess whoe's V2 had a catastrophic failure? yea, and i was bragging that i hadn't seen a single failure documented online of V2's... me and my big mouth. Part 1: First things first: finally the DD RISII is on it its ACM and it came with a weird nut that according to a "tech" buddy of mine its "Classic Army threaded." Anyways, i bought a G&P madbull DD nut and fit fine (good fyi: imperial nuts fit on metric bodies). The build is just missing the

i got the colt ones, Hut has some other ones, there is like 3 or 4 you can choose from.. :3 its crazy how durable they are, its like a metallic film with very strong adhesive on the back.. Here is my latest reincarnation, just waiting for my barrel nut to get here so i can install my 12 inch DD RISII, the XTM hand stop and my troy BUS kit edit: i also installed a falcon 363mm inner and paired it with falcon's bucking... ill let you know how it does!

the V1 BCG still has the carrier extension issue (search in this topic about that), where the buffer smashes the detent, instead of the BCG and breaks the lower. The V2 BCG has fixed that with a it being a few mm longer, and the cradle modded V1 BCG has a carrier extension built in... I said cheaper in the long run for that and the magazines, where you can get gen 1's bundled with a used gun, or buy gen 2 and go through a mod process, not to mention used stuff has way more bang for the buck, and KJW age well, you will have a gun that is as good as new. How is buying a 400$ KJW V1.1 and
  25. Landa

    KJW M4

just buy a used V2, you can source them with 5 or so mags for around 400$ or so (one in good condition) and buy the cradle bolt separately. It will come out cheaper in the long run, plus the magazine "combo" you usually get with used rifles is great as you get the old gen 1 mags, no need to mod them... The v2 will have the reinforced receiver AND the updated hop up too, no one has mentioned that.
