1. I hear they only work well with low FPS guns that dont have any HOP. I suggest a RA-Tech 6.03 or have Cradle cut you up a custom length one. Both work well, just be sure to get 6.03. I tried the 6.01 and it worked okay with .30's, but I was getting far better accuracy with .25s (6.03 barrel) than the 6.01 could ever do. Reason why is the bb needs about a .05 space in between the barrel so that when its fired the bb wont bounce around the barrel. Either people who sell the barrel will do fine. I used RA-Tech because Cradle didnt have any barrels in stock and it was a little cheaper I think.

I am not sure if you saw my post but I got a RS AR15 trigger spring to work in my KJW M4 and also I took an old cheapo spring gun spring (not sure where I got it, but I will find out soon) and it fit nicely as the buffer spring. Slower ROF, but I could see using it in a colder enviorment or something. Either way the KJW M4 does have some potential to use RS parts.

I do not own a RS AR-15, but from memory the RS has the tougher pull. This is because the disconector and hammer spring are still KJW. I didnt put the diconector and hammer spring in because I thought it would interfer with the gas efficency and function of the GBB. It is a difference though from memory I say it feels along the lines of glock pull weight which I hear is around 5.5lbs. Though I dont have the tool to see how the weight on my M4 is.

Success! A standard AR15 trigger spring will infact work and does increase the trigger pull and what feels like the crispness of the trigger reset. Only issues I can say is that you will need to noodle around with the trigger once installed so the hammer spring can fill the groove to keep the trigger pin in place. Otherwise it works!

My AR-15 trigger spring comes this thursday! WIll keep you guys updated

Hey everyone just placed an order for an AR15 trigger spring. I plan on attempting to put one in to see it will not only work, but increase the pull weight on the trigger. Should come within a week and I will let eveyrone know how it goes! I onyl got a trigger spring because if I changed the disconnector I fear that it could cause more resistence for the bolt to completely cock the hammer. Wish me luck!

Has anyone thought of a mod that allows the same stock trigger pull on an AR15 for the KJW M4, but without altering the fps and such in any way? I know milspec is sort of out of the question, but what about trigger pull? I was thinking it doesnt have to be the hammer spring but something on the trigger to increase the pull weight.

Shoo, for a minute I thought we lost Raven1, but very terrible news indeed on your friend T_Hum. I look forward to your guys products. Saw the speedloader and only concern is how do we know when our mags are at a safe capacity?
-
Hey T_Hum was Raven1 the one that passed? Last time I heard he wasnt feeling too well.

Wow Hut I never knew. I honestly thought you were a 20 something year old guy who loves airsoft, and has a decent job. Best of wishes on the newborn and current ones sickness. Its never fun when the child is sick or not well, heck we just offered our help to a neighbor who had a car accident and is in a neck brace. Single Mom with 2 kids and a dog, so we are offering her the best of help. I wish you the best on the new job! Not sure what you work or you know, but those who dare win haha. Thats how we went from A crappy area with little air to one of the best areas of SoCal.

Hey guys I have this outragous suggestion. Okay so we use the top of the mag (that goes into the magwell) make a base for it that had two tubes. We have that running inside a belt that looks like something you see on the Miniguns into a pouch of some kind about the size of the square hydration pouches or some kind of pouch of that size. Either in the pouch there is a device that pushes the bbs into the mag to be fired or something along the belt that feeds bbs (stay with me guys) thats tube 1. Tube 2 will be hooked to a propane tank. So pretty much it looks like a belt similar to a Miniguns th

For my reloading I cut mine in half. So I get between 30-32 bbs per load. TO keep it together I dremeled the opening on both sides so they expanded a little so coming apart from the 3 reloading parts wasnt a problem. I then made a slit around the rod and put some teflon tape so while it was fully in it wouldnt come out unless I pulled it out, oddly enough being very easy too haha. I will say user error is more apparent this way due to if you forget how many times you have plunged your mag, then over loading could be an issue, yet it does help with reloading a half empty mag since I load 15

true but a QD barrel nut or something of the sort would be amazing.

I understand Hut73 and what he is saying, but it was just a suggestion. I run 4 mags, but own 6. I havnt seen a need for anymore then 4 so a conversion would be possible for me. I suggested Co2 because I currently have a gas mask pouch with green gas which is quite bulky and I dont need very comfortable with that near my lower back. CO2 would allow me to have a smaller pouch of spare gas which would be more convenient for me.

WHy not try the universal mag pouches from FLYYE. I use the open top ones and they fit my mags perfectly. Like a glove when on my vest

Hey T_Hum as for a few suggestions why not look at some of what the RS guys are doing with their AR15's. Here is my suggestion list. 1. Shorter mags. Not too hard, just a shorter middle space. 2. A cover for the bottom of the mags that protect the fill valve. I had to replace new fill valves after an op due to specs of dust getting in the fill valve rendering the mag useless. I assume rubber that has a cap to allow refills mid game without getting dirt in there. 3. Larger mag. I know its quite a big suggestion, but I am sure some of us would like to have a bigger mag capacity that

Hey everyone sorry for being MIA for a while, (no one cares). A friend of mine isnt able to use auto and the hook on the right side of his valve knocker broke off. He can put the selector on Auto, but is unable to pull the trigger. I suspect its something with his auto sear, but we are at a distance so its pretty difficult to troubleshoot.

So your pretty much saying that aside from the BCG the V2 KJW M4 is better then the V1.1? Mags, bolt catch, etc.?
-
Nice post man I personally prefer the current gif. IMO this one has an almost video game BF3 COD and etc. feel to it but good nonetheless

PM me if you need anymore info, I consider myself knowlegdable enough about the AR platform to help. As far as costs go, you could litterally make your stock have little to no wobble if you put electical tape on the stock tube. SInce your looking at Magpul stuff I assume you want magpul and heres what my recommendation would be. http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/magpul-pts-moe-stock-black.html You still get the magpul look, but its cheaper then the CTR.
-
I use the same stock, but would recommend the one without the clamp, with some electrical tape it will fix the wobble not the clamp part of it. For the rail system I believe its a standard carbine length (7in?)

You guys are making me jittery with all these self mods. I love doing nutty mods to make things work haha. Fill me in on how things go.

What I did to my kjw M4 barrel was use Teflon tape and wrapped it maybe 1 time around the inner barrel that touches the outer barrel enough for no wobble. I noticed that instead of my shots being either left to right sometimes, there were all straight but with drop due to hop.
