Both of my VW's are pretty much finished
'Bout time!
Then again...I shouldn't talk. My Barrett's taken longer...

I don't think I've ever seen one quite like it...definetally is an awesome piece.
-Vic

I like them both...but I'd pick the short.

All the *generic Americanski assault rifle* threads...meaning the one Armalite thread?
Quoted for truth.

& you thought you'd put a piccy up of it because??
Greg.
I'm guessing because it's a P90 picture thread...

Aren't they about the same price as a used G&P?

I'd get a black grip, short magazine, and an ACOG...then *WHAM*...an awesome rifle.
Oh, and I'd also remove the trigger guard on the M203....doesn't look to be doing much good.

Ahh damn, I still want a FS2000...

Yeah, I second the Aimpoint. I'd go with a Canteliver mount.

It feels like there are splinters in my hole that i poop out of after seeing that rather inaccurate picture right there.
That's exactly what I was going for...
------------
When it's all said and done, it'll look the part. Still need paint, and a few other specific accessories.
-Vic
P.S. Maybe I should have held off on the progress pictures...

That happened when I was attacked by zombies...
Un-natural wear is perfectly normal when fighting against the un-dead....
...going for a specific theme, here. Gun's not done, so it looks a bit out of place.
-Vic
P.S. I have been bitten, but I have grown immune. I've been in this hell hole for 3 years. This is my carbine. There aren't many like it, as this one is mine.

Introducing...the Zombie Killer Concept Carbine:
And before you take points away for the CA metal body...I must ask you...have you seen 28 Weeks Later? Hmm?
Sights lign up nicely as well.
Not sure if I should leave it as-is, or frontwire, and install a Magpul M93. I have the M93, so I just might.
-Vic
P.S. A Zombie Killer without wear and tear on the body most likely hasn't seen any zombie action...so I'm guessing all of you with brand spankin' new Zombie Killers have only a desk job in the fight against zombies.

That..is classy.
Very nice.

Can someone give me a good idea as to what makes the "Dolphin" slide so special, and about how much it's worth?
Thanks.

Oh, thanks Brandon and srpg...I guess that makes sense...sorta'.
Now I feel silly.

It won't close at all...and no, I haven't opened it up yet.
That is a good idea, though.
-Vic
Edit: And yes, it is the KAC 600 M type BUIS.
-
Rust!?
Great, lol, something to look forward to...
Maybe I should keep some silicon lube on the thing...or take it off and spray some matte finish...
Or just leave it and let it "wear naturally"...

I'll think about it. I have three of them after all.
I won't forget!
An overview of the externals, as I haven't even shot it (I need a deans adapter or a set to convert my charger):
Finish is good. Basically the same as Guarder, CA, and other metal bodies. The fact that it was CNC Machined doesn't jump out at you...doesn't seem all that special/worth while...but hey, if I ever drop and/or fall on the gun...we might be able to tell then, heh. The rear BUIS, there was some wobble, but a small piece of electrical tape under the BUIS where it mounts fixed that.
On the rail system, you know how it says "Knights Armament Com..." well, wherever the guy before me had bought this, they took a Sharipe marker...and covered the "Knights" to get it through customs. Why? No idea what-so-ever. Again, a small piece of black electricial tape fixed that.
There is some wobble to the Crane stock. Nothing new here.
Also, this is what irks me...the dust cover WILL NOT CLOSE....why, I have no idea. Pretty stupid if you ask me.
