  1. Ah yes thats true.. I'll wait to see what it's reviews are like first before I buy more mags, 7 do me just fine for now.
  2. I don't think I'll bother with the Z-parts carrier for a while. However the more I look the G&P PMags, the more I want some.. On another note, my 416 is done Good luck for Sunday then bud!
  3. besides one of my mags needing some parts replaced as an oring had perished etc. but otherwise I'm had no leaks, and no cooldown yesterday. I personally like them
  4. I don't like the design itself, but it's working, so I can't bash it I've seen videos of the G&P PMags, and while they look amazing and seem to function well, I won't pick any up just yet, I picked up a new toy and that needs mags..
  5. Yup, bit of a waste really, but hey ho, gotta try it anyways. Mine is the same as yours, I get the ocassional flyer, probably since it has bedded yet. I haven't tried GHK mags yet, but i probably won't, i'm currently running 7 VFC mags, I got 4 for an absolute bargain, but I probably won't get anymore. But I had no issues at all with them, I crawled through nettles, brambles and thorns yesterday, cutting my arms a fair bit, got a teeny bit of blood on a mag yet it still fed, can't complain.. Needless to say it's clean now!
  6. So I took my 416 out today, and it runs like a dream, hop is still bedding in but running .3s through it it has brilliant accuracy, distance/range wise I could hazard a guess as to how far, but enough for me to feel happy. think I must've put about 15-20 mags through, but honestly I've no idea.. In terms of FPS it was chronoing at 310 FPS on a .2, i have removed the NPAS nozzle and installed the Azimuth valve, NPAS lasted about a mag and a bit while zeroing my short dot.. otherwise, I LOVE IT
  7. I'll put some rounds through it and see if clip remains on, if so then all is good; reliability wise? I'm hoping more than 15 rounds.. If it proves unreliable like it did for you, I'll replace with a reduction valve probably.
  8. Everything fitted this afternoon. Haven't checked the consistency of the NPAS yet as I'm waiting for a new chrono. All I can say is, the nozzle is a pain to fit. The spring doesn't like to fit through the hole in the bolt to be fastened by the E-clip. There's a chunky o ring on it which I replaced with the stock nozzle's, it's still works and cycles, but the clip isnt exactly secure, ill go back to it in the morning and refit it if needed. I think the nozzle itself is also causing the bolt to protrude ever so slightly into the buffer tube, so it prevents access to the fcg unless both
  9. Rest of my parts arrived today so I'm gunna start fitting them as soon as I can.
  10. When you say done right, how do you mean? Nugentgl shows a straight cut and file job? What would you use for a retainer then??
  11. I'm getting the VSR mod done as soon as my parts land. Placed an order for the last bit today (hop tensioner ( and my Ra-tech nozzle landed yesterday. Sooon ill be done.
  12. possibly, we need someone with both to test! I'm not sure if I want to get the 417, I mean, it's going to be gorgeous, but, I'll only want to build a G28.. which will cost more money
  13. Thanks bud, But now I can't find the hop tensioner in stock! Sweet! Your welcome dude, in regards to the NPAS I'll let you know when it lands and I can get it chronod, if it's naff I'll pick up the reduced flow valve and I'll compare the two.
