check the gearbox, sounds like either your tapped plate has worn or the sector clip has dislodged or isnt doing it's job.
am waiting until i am not broke to swap out my pistol grip and motor for a highspeed long motor and a reg m4 grip.
still cannot get over how good this little gun is.

slide the lower reciver w/gearbox into the rear of the receiver, line up the hop, re-connect the wires then slide the lower receiver home. it is a horizontal slide action. can be a little clunky to start with.

have a look at this guys trigger/hop stuff, i use the trigger mech and am waiting for the v2 hop units to come out.
Look at his links too, they are for his builds and projects over on ASR. If these guys haven't thought it about the vsr it probably isn't worth considering,

About 10k though mine now without a hitch, hop wil need changing soon.
I am looking to pick up an ICS 3000 motor and some form of grip as i am finding the short grip not idea. (serviceable but not ideal for my long hands)

shorten your stock one hole< most chicken wing is caused by stocks being too long.

i want an afg for my kac pdw, even a stubby vfg is too snaggy for me.

Those Stalker TDU's are slick i think i'm listing them .

there is a quick test if you would be so kind, chrono a couple of rounds witht hte stock inner barrel and then cahange the ib for a shorter m4 or m16(whatever you got kicking around inner barrel. and see what the difference is.

Being shorter it is ideal for the little pannel on the back. which sits miles too low for attaching a map or such.

i am currently trying my damndest to pick one up 2nd hand for cheap. am mspainting a diagram now for measurments needed.

quick math says you need to have a cylinder/gas output of 31cm3, will try and work that out in blot terms later.
(allthogh i seem to recall someone saying it may be cylinder= barrel volx2 will check)

with such a long barrel you also need to concider the piston/gas output volume -v- inner barrel volume.
Perhaps this has been the problem from the start, if the cylinder/gas output is not euqal to or greater than the volume of the inner barrel then the bb will not exit the barrel under pressure and will have no 'air cushion' (the air that flows around the round) just chucking that out there.
It may also nesecitate minor porting of the outer barrel. Can anyone give the inner diamiter of ther outer barrel.
seems to me it's just a case of inefficiency.

Yesterday.
The red on my was my team colour i was sniping earlier in the day and like to keep my team colour low. the red tag on my chest is my chalker sling pull.

apart from the wiring yep it is (was) totally stock. I took it apart to clean it and change the spring to an m100. It could do with a total reshim as it is noisy as hell but it is shooting straight and very consistently as is so i am relucant to change anything.
I took the breach block to work today and set about chopping it down in the same way RA-Tec do to make thier lipo kit 2 simple cuts with a standard hacksaw. Now i just need to order in a couple of lipos and find someplace to hide the mosfet. This gun is inline to take over as my primary since my vsr decided to go to the wall again.

Used mine for an almost full day on sunday and aside from just being fookin noisy it was an awesome little shooter> i did have to do an almost total rewire after melting the tamya connectors off. am looking at a different motor next.
