If RA-tech made a CNC replacement hammer assembly for the M&P...

Right now, this pin is preventing my valve striker from pulling all the way back, so it's causing like strikes. Any ideas if not modifying slides?

Thanks TnL. So I guess the only fix would be to apply epoxy or something to the slide so that it makes enough contact to fully push the pin down?

Does anyone know whether this piece is essential to the gun's operation? It belongs in the side of the hammer assembly and it has been giving me light strikes. Without this piece, I can still shoot and do so without light strikes. I think the problem is that the slide isn't making enough contact with this piece to allow the release/strike pin to pull all the way back - so instead, the pin just get stuck there. If this thing doesn't do anything, I'm going to just leave it out.

That definitely looks interesting. Might be something to look into in the future. For now, I'm more interested in just getting front sights installed. His front sights look like it fit pretty well and then maybe glued into place. If the registration process to arms-cool isn't a pain, I may get on and ask how he installed all of that in my broken Chinese. If he does reply, I can't gaurantee a translation back into English. My reading is pretty poor.

Thanks. Might just have to glue it on or find a way to fill the gap. I'm not sure if there are any other sights with a similar shape as M&P sights. Let me know how it goes.

Hi all - new here to Arnies. Anyway, my front sights fell off during a game (kind of my fault, I noticed the securing rod starting to stick out but didn't think much of it). I know some have mentioned that RS front sights are likely to work on it with little/no modication. Has anyone installed RS/aftermarket sights on this? If so, which sights did you install?
