evansy Posted September 15, 2007 Report Share Posted September 15, 2007 How far have you got with it? and which way do you want it to "spring" With mine I made it spring open and I glued a small magnet to it to keep it closed or you could do it so it holds its self closed all the time. I have no idea because I have a CA so I'm used to a magnet. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think thats what G&P intend from what I remember you need to put the longest side of the spring towards the back of the reciver on the outside of the dust cover then just and slide the bar thru from the font and just before you slide it thru the back hole move the short end of the spring so its under tension and holds the door closed. It was a fiddly job when I put my spring in so I was more concerned with getting it done that remembering what I was doing so I might not be 100% spot on. Link to post Share on other sites
