Starting to come together... Expecting an order from MSA by the end of the week, and a larger one from DBT after that...then I need to pick up something for hydration, and I can start on my first line.

DBT Predator G1 Blue Force Gear Ten-Speed 7.62 double underneath the cummerbund; adding a few more DBT/Paraclete pouches soon, but trying to keep it simple in the front, as it will be used in a designated marksman role.

My ride...

Isn't the MBUS much easier to engage, also? edit It adds much less weight than most other redundant *suitcase* people bolt to their guns

Man j3t, *fruitcage* you. I decide to stay away from the ACR and you take a nice little picture of the exact setup I'd dreamt about. Minus the dual front sights

Not very hi-res, but it's all I could find

That FDE looks really really brown, you didn't paint it, did you? Looks great

As far as I know, the velcro-covered pocket interior and velcro-covered pouch exterior system (they call it the Accessory Platform) is a DBT thing. I haven't owned an EPC in a while, but if I remember correctly, the entire pocket is not covered in velcro, so it's not really meant for those pouches. It was designed as a pocket for a pistol or other misc stuff. And a word to the wise: Unless you've tried it, I wouldn't go and buy a bunch of SR-25 pouches for SCAR-H mags, only to find out they don't fit comfortably. I'm sure they'd sit well in the pouch, but maybe not optimally. There's a re

DBT made those velcro-covered pouches specifically for the Battlelab Accessory Platform in their new Praetorian and FAPC carriers. As far as I know, they're the only manufacturer who makes them for that specific purpose. When you say 7.62, do you mean you want a pouch that's M14/SCAR-H magazine size, or SR-25 magazine size? DBT makes a velcro covered pouch for SR-25 mags. http://www.diamondbacktactical.com/Accesso...-P2911C159.aspx

Talk to CapaciousZepher. He's got an awesome M4A1 similar to what you are looking for I don't want to post his pictures here since I didn't ask for his permission. Here's the link: (scroll down about 3/4th the page) http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/inde...p;#entry2096127 Pictures there Hope that helped! -Shin And never forget this little guy: http://www.larueprofiler.com/Profiler.html

Looks good. Haven't seen a pistol mag pouch positioned like that in a while.

For the TM MEU? Zeke produces several. http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper.php?i...MGMEUL_srch_meu http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper.php?i...MGMEUM_srch_meu

I absolutely love the bottom one. Nice work.

My mistake then, I thought you were talking about the world outside of airsoft. I agree, there are too many airsofters who build a gun based on something they saw rather than their own personal pref.

Well, Magpul technically invented the unique shade dubbed 'FDE', and Costa has always been their poster boy, so it makes sense that he would appear to have started the "FDE trend". I suppose you could say he did; he has certainly always pushed FDE.
