4boost
I have never used this spring, maybe someone else can comment on it. Proud: http://www.dentrinityshop.com/pr_details.jsp?pid=6685
Husky
yea i've heard from others that the proud springs arent any stronger than stock
Romulus
I am using a Proud Spring in my KSC USPc. It works great for me (I'm running an SD Slide & Barrel set with stock valve). I can't comment on whether it is stronger than stock though since I bought the gun used and rebuilt it. I can say that it is more than enough to make a well fit slide cycle crisply though. Husky
well then when you rack the slide, does it stick sometimes? as if the spring doesnt have enough force to run it forward?
4boost
You might be able to use an SD 150% spring set and just cut a couple of coils off of it.
Romulus
well then when you rack the slide, does it stick sometimes? as if the spring doesnt have enough force to run it forward? There's no problems like that. Like I said above it allows the gun to cycle crisply with a well fit slide.
4boost
Couldn't edit my previous post, but to clarify: You might be able to use an SD 150% spring set for a KSC USP .45 and just cut a couple of coils off of it. I have the SD springs on my USP .45 and couldn't be happier with them. Rom knows what he's doing when it comes to pistol parts and rebuilds (check the 2011 thread) so if he says they work; they work. Husky
oh wow, didnt even realize it was rom, just read the post. yea no, i know rom knows what he's talking about. After further inspection, i think my problem has to do with the blowback unit. it appears to be rubbing against something. i think its the hammer.
Romulus
It's a major pain to get a USPc slide to fit and cycle well for some reason. Mine was so screwy that I ended up buying an extra USPc to swap and test parts with.
