Marlowe
I've encountered the same error myself. I've contact Arnie in relation to the matter and I'm currently snooping around to try to identify the issue. For now I'd recommend all members consider adopting Firefox, even if only as a temporary measure to ensure reliable access.

Arnie
I've removed the offending counter from the site pages (the ones I can remember) so that the error should go away. Waiting on a fix from sitemeter (AutoBlog, Gizmodo and Lifehacker use them too). Thanks again for all the help in spotting the issue folks.
