lewis hiscock Posted July 26, 2008 Report Share Posted July 26, 2008 Just wanted to warn people about my experience with ironclad outdoors I placed an order on the 17th june for a PLCE belt and Yoke i chose them because they had the lowest price although if id known what i was in store for i would have forked out the extra and bought from another supplier. This was my first order with Ironclad so i cant comment on thier usual level of service, like i said im just posting up MY experience. Ok so the order was placed and a confirmation recieved. i thought nothing of it and went about my day. anyhow, 2 weeks went by and i'd recieved nothing so i sent them an email requesting an update on the order, this was on the 29th june. the reply was recieved saying that they hadnt even processed the order yet and i would get it by the end of the week. the end of the week came and went. i got another email from them on the 7th july saying that the order had finally been processed but was now on a 2 WEEK DELIVERY! it is now 3 weeks later and i still havnt recieved anything. does anyone have any other experience with this supplier? dechande Posted July 26, 2008 Report Share Posted July 26, 2008 These guys took almost a year to sort me out with a refund, excuse after excuse was all I got until I said I was going to the police. lewis hiscock Posted July 27, 2008 Author Report Share Posted July 27, 2008 thanks for the info dechande have just sent them a polite message explaining that i have been waiting 6 weeks for these items and that i cant see how a UK to UK delivery for very commonly available items can take 2 weeks. i also said that if the items or a refund was not recieved withinthe next week or so i would be contacting trading standards. perr_mike Posted July 28, 2008 Report Share Posted July 28, 2008 I had similar problems a few years back after ordering some combat kit bits, nothing arrived for weeks, they then came up with some story of being flooded.
