I ask since I got it in a package deal when I bought my M14 and it's been laying around for quite some time and would like to know what, performance wise, it would improve? Abelius Posted August 16, 2008 Report Share Posted August 16, 2008 The only improvement it would offer is the fact that it comes with 7mm ball bearings. Otherwise you won't notice a difference. Use your current TM mechbox shell until it cracks (they are pretty fragile) and replace it with the G&P when it does so. Be advised however. The G&P V7 mechbox shell isn't any more reinforced than the TM one. It's actually a bit thinner at the critical points, installed one with my mate and we noticed it. Link to post Share on other sites
