Aod
Didn't notice this one from before... okay, i'll give you my opinion. your box is obviously made from a sub-optimal mix of pot-metal-goo. i'm sure if you bought another one from another batch it would be fine. why don't you try exchanging this (broken) one for a new one and see if the problem occurs once more? as an aside, i HATE VERSION 2 GEARBOXES WITH A PASSION! WHY MARUI WHY?!?!? WHY DID YOU DO THIS TO US?!?!?!? Edited September 1, 2008 by Aod
Carter
Hey, I just bought this and am having a mother of a time getting the bushings in. Anyone else have this problem?
Magsz
Hey, I just bought this and am having a mother of a time getting the bushings in. Anyone else have this problem? Yes, use a 9-10mm wood dowel and a hammer to "press" them in.
Carter
Thank yee kindly. However, I do not believe I have such a dowel. Could I used anything similarly sized? I'm assuming I can I just don't want to break some sacred, Dowel Using rule.
Magsz
Go to home depot or loews, they will have what you need. I suggest a wood dowel because its softer than the bearing. The dowel will deform under pressure instead of the bearing taking the brunt of the force during installation.
