SEADOG
Heya, I've had my CA M4 since the start of the year got it second hand and it worked find for a while then the problems started to make them selfs known First my hop unit broke so I had to replace that, then my spring guilde exploded then when we opened it up to replce that we found that part of the gearbox case had snapped off so now I am looking to buy a new complete gearbox just to drop in to brin my M4 back into the field, I found this one on Ehobby asia I was wondering if anyone had any Ideas on how this one perform I hoping once I replace the gearbox that might solve most of my problems with it. Any Advice welcome
TheFull9
I doubt it would fit without modification to the body, you'll probably want an actual CA gearbox as the holes that the securing pins go through are positioned slightly differently in a G&P.
7jl22sea
If I was to replace the whole gearbox I'd just save up a bit more and get one of the systema drop ins. Its roughly a hundred more but the reliability and performance you get from them is second to none.
Taylorb
Yeh i have the CA M15 (M4 - if this is the one you speak of) and i dropped in a systema magnum mechabox, and that fits fine. Gave brilliant results and reliability.
