davedawg123
Probably a silly question but is there a difference between outer barrels/chambers for TM M1911A1 and MEU? I'm guessing no but Guarder does offer one for each. Although, they do that for recoil springs too...
Sale
I assume the Guarder parts have different markings or some other cosmetic difference. The parts are interchangeable. -Sale
davedawg123
Thanks, Sale. I take it SD Hicapa chambers w/ SD MEU/A1 barrels are compatible with the MEU/A1 (e.g. Guarder metal body kit)?
Sale
If I recall correctly, Shooters Design uses a different thread to attach TM 1911 chambers and outer barrels and TM Hi-Capa chambers and outer barrels together. So if you get a Hi-Capa chamber, you'll need a Hi-Capa outer barrel as well. After you get the two pieces together, there should be no compatibility issues between a 1911/MEU and Hi-Capas. -Sale
davedawg123
Hmm, I thought the different threading pertained to certain Guarder barrel/chamber combos?
