tinydata
Hi, I'm building a MEU with a Guarder kit, TM M1911, and Bell MEU. So I've decided to use the Marui's barrel and hop-up for accuracy, but what about the frame? Should I use the Bell's fire control parts? Are they as durable as Marui ones? Also, does anyone know of any really detailed M1911 disassembly guides? Thanks!
noe
http://www.airsoftohio.com/forums/showthread.php?p=271384 Best 1911 disassembly guide i think.
RacingManiac
If you have a TM 1911, why use the Bell at all?
RWJP
I agree with RacingManiac... You've got a TM 1911, just use that, there's no point mixing and matching good and average parts when you could just whack in all good parts...
tinydata
Because the TM M1911A1 doesn't have the ambi safety, hollowed out hammer, beavertail safety, and new trigger. It turned out that it'd be cheaper to buy a whole Bell pistol than to buy the complete guarder conversion kit.
RacingManiac
If the safety, trigger assembly and the hammer itself fits, sure why not.... If not why not start with the MEU and a MEU kit and you can reuse all the controls...
tinydata
I'm just going to buy a TM MEU seeing how nice the Bell is...shame to waste a decent body kit. thanks for the help guys
