Arnie was good enough to post the news on his site that i will be opening a site in the highlands of scotland.

i will first make it clear that at this moment in time i am not Naming the site until i am completely satisfied that i am ready to launch.

i will update soon with a post on this forum stating the company website, location, costs, rules etc as will also be done on the forum for my site when operational.

For now i can tell you that it is to be held on an old WW2 airfield at the end of an active bombing range, there are around 25-30 structures. Some large, many small but suited to outdoor scenarios with movement between structures. this a quite a large site, perfect for snipers and all out assaults! standard skirmishes, captureobjective and there will also be milsim and 2 day events.

The bombing range next to the site is used almost daily by the RAF for jet bombing runs and helicopter attacks to make for a fantastic setting!flamed.gif

If there are any players that are interested please feel free to post and as mentioned above i will post more information soon. Players in the highlands can PM guessing the location and the first one to figure it out will get onto the site for free on the opening day!

I plan to host an open day in Feb next year! bb's and pyro's will be sold on site and possibility of on site camping for anyone looking to make a weekend out of it.

for now here is one aerial image of the site to come!nosleep.gif

we will be UKARA & UKASGB registered!biggrin.gif

Not sure if these pictures are of the same buildings - http://www.controltowers.co.uk/t-v/tain.htm, http://www.urbexforums.co.uk/showthread.php/7577-RAF-Tain-Ross-shire-March-2010-Report.

Just how close is ths possible site to the active bombing range? Some of those buildings look as though they're used for straffing runs......

its very close the airsoft site, the raf control tower is visible from the old control building on the site. The building shown in the picture at the top of the post is all that will be used and some of the smaller ones have been knocked down. one or two buildings in your links that were posted by another user on the other topic i made in the news section are not in my site location and are nearer the bombing range.

Have a look here on the HIghland Tactical Airsoft Fcaebook page, these were taken by myself and show the building that will be used.
