NonEx
So. To some of us this comes as no suprise... There has been chatter about WE taking heat for their XDM pistols, having semi-realistic trademarks. With the XDM style logo etc. I heard from a local shop the WE XDMs had been pulled until further notice due to trademark issues. Well, I was just browsing the internets and it is now confirmed (well, OK, not 100%), official WE pics are changed and some retailers have updated their product photos, I think?. The XDM on the slides and frame are removed. The full size 4.5 on WEs site is now blank. I noticed on AirsoftGlobal site that the XDM 3.8 does not have the XDM on the frame, nor the slide, maybe it always was that way? So chances are, if you buy it from now on, no more semi-realistic trades. Full Size 4.5 XDM http://www.wemodel.com.tw/EN/ugC_ShowroomItem_Detail.asp?hidShowKindID=4&hidShowTypeID=15&hidShowID=207 This is what it used to look like; Compact 3.8 XDM (always been like this ?) Can anyone in HK confirm if you have seen this transition happen ?
Andyjp
Yet another reason to just buy the TM instead! I do wonder if Guarder or another aftermarket company will release a frame set though. I`d think this could rather encourage them to, as a decent bit of the XDM aftermarket seems to revolve around the WE's.
Redwolf UK
I can confirm our latest batch of XDM full size pistols have no "XD" marking on them
NonEx
Do they have the rest, not just XDM, or are they blank ?
