Questions on G&P mk46

Sorry if this is in the wrong section but I'm not sure where else to ask.

 

A g&p mk 46 has come up on a local forum at a good price so I have a few questions about it before I offer on it.

1: It's missing the pistol grip base. My question is will one of a M4 pistol grip fit it or is it a proprietary item? If it is, how difficult is it to get one?

 

2: Whats the story with batteries? Is it a separate one for the box mag and the gun or do they both run of the one battery? I currently have a 9.6V 1400mah cranestock in good condition, and a 9.6v 1600mah and 2000mah cranestock that I'm not so sure of their ability to hold charge. Roughly how power hungry are they in general?

 

3: Is there any other known issues with them?
