Bovinedog
I recently bought one of the shiny WE slides to go on my old glock 18c. It comes with a new hammer assembly (which I really struggled working out how to put that together!) which I thought I had fitted ok. But, when it came to game day, it worked fine for a while but then I would get two shots in semi (quite inaccurate shots as well) I have been looking for a solution and one suggestion is to file down the part of the trigger bar that interacts with the hammer assembly "a bit" and this should fix the problem. Does this sound right? Or is there somewhere else I should be looking? Thanks.
renegadecow
Before you start attacking things with a file, make absolutely sure the tolerances you're trying to fix are indeed the ones in need of addressing. With that, have you tried putting the stock hammer assembly back in?
Bovinedog
I have not, because I had an absolute nightmare getting the thing together properly (donor springs from the original unit). Doesnt help the online videos I was looking at to assist went out of focus at just the point I needed! Am quite new to the hammer assembly, so was a bit of a learning curve...... renegadecow
Can you rule out installation error? Maybe a spring simply jumped out of place.
Bovinedog
Its possible. Problem is, as I mentioned, the video I was referring to wasnt very clear in sections. So any links to guides or images would help immensely!
