WE M&P firing issue

Hi all.

 

I have a WE M&P with an Ace 1 arms salient slide.  3 gas mags for it.  2 of the mags work fine and empty.

 

However the third just doesn't work.  When I fire it'll shoot sometimes.  Though it won't cycle properly.  Other times it sounds like the hammer isn't hitting the release hard enough.  i.e. click of hammer drop, slight sound of gas release.  Sometimes enough to propel the bb but not enough to cycle.

 

I have tried with full gas, half gas to no avail as I thought it might be a pressure thing.

 

Is is just a crap release valve?  Or something worse?

First thing I would check is the valve. Try swapping it over with one of the ones that does work and see if it works then.
