chairmousey Posted June 26, 2005 Report Share Posted June 26, 2005 had an idea for a mortar, firstly, has it been done already. secondly would people be happy about facing fire from a mortar, and would most sites allow it, only skirmished once, so not sure about what attitudes would be. basically it would be based on a gun dog training dummy launcher which uses .22 long blanks to launch a plastic or foam dummy about 30-40 yrds. was thinking it could be used to launch a tennis ball grenade out to about 50 yrds. opinions please. I see no problem with that, since at the range in airsoft a mortar probably won't be firing much further than can be thrown so as long as it isn't aimed directly AT people, I'd be happy to have it in my games.
