Smithy4789 Posted October 12, 2022 Report Share Posted October 12, 2022 Hi all, My first gun I brought the Ares L85A3 has passed its warranty period and I was looking to give the internals abit of a upgrade (If possible). Has anyone done this? I am mainly looking to upgrade the hop up and the inner barrel but if I can get the FPS from 330 0.25 to 345 0.25 I will do this upgrade aswell. BigAl Posted October 12, 2022 Report Share Posted October 12, 2022 There is no point, if you try to upgrade to that power level it will offer no advantage. What it could mean being that close to 351fps is that you could be unable to use you gun at some sites. Lots of things can affect fps readings on a chrono let alone the differences between different chrono's even of the same model. A better option may be to change the hop rubber and or nub if ou are looking for greater range.
