Well, I can't find anything on arnies..... The published review is, well, a bit pants, in my opinion. The reviewer goes on about the kit he bought and why, and says little about flecktarn.co.uk themselves. The only tip-off that it's about those guys is that the title says so. So, here's my atempt at a review. I'm posting a trnscript and a link to the review on my site (I'm not so mad about getting hits that I'm only posting the link :D). Pics may be added at a later date. (Warning: contains the word "arses")

Flecktarn.co.uk Review - www.flecktarn.co.uk

Well. The first review that's going on the site. And who could ask for a better retailer to review? Flecktarn have already established themselves as a great retailer. But this isn't about marketing, this is about how good they are. so, on with the reviewing!!

Product range

Well, Flecktarn.co.uk established themselves on their products. As the name suggests, they specialise in hard to find german flecktarn cammoflague. If you need something in flecktarn, they've probably got it. But they're not just limited to that. No, they do nearly every type of cammo under the sun: British DPM, the new American digital cammo, Danish stuff, and some strichtarn stuff, a flecktarn variant. And the ever popular Black and Olive Drab.

They have mountains of stuff; they even stock their own P90 magazine pouches, which are damned rare to begin with, even real-steel ones are hard to get hold of. So top marks there, then.

Prices

Flecktarn do exotic stuff as well as the usual DPM, right? So their prices must be fairly high too? Umm, No. They do have some expensive kit, but that's only the odd item that's stupidly rare anyway. As a comparison, I recently bought a set of DPM for myself, Grade 1 surplus. cost me £16, including the shipping. Down my local army surplus shop, the same stuff would have cost me £20. Just for clarification, I bought the "used" surplus. No fading, nothing wrong with it. £5 for the trousers, another £5 for the shirt. Bargin basement prices for top-notch kit. IMHO, it's better to buy surplus kit, as it's a tad cheaper than, say, the Webtex stuff. And faded stuff makes your kit look like it's seem action, not the top row of a shelf somewhere.

Delivery & sales

Order was placed. Money was sent. I waited, wondering how long it would take. I was expecting about a week for them to be delivered. Two days after the order was placed, my stuff arrived. Either royal mail shifted their arses, or Flecktarn had gotten the order sent out straight away. And I'm not so sure that royal mail *ever* shift their arses.

Much to my suprise, Included was a nice big receipt, stating that I'd spent a rather small ammount of money on some damned good quality kit. Also included were a couple of damned fine postcards showing their kit in action. Full marks!

Total score

Damn. I can't fault them. I've never heard of any orders being lost, their prices are some of the cheapest around, and they stock loads of hard to find kit. 10/10 for the Flecktarn.co.uk Boys!!! and well deserved it is too!

So, there you have it. My review of flecktarn.co.uk - I may have an airsoftscotland one coming soon, so keep on the lookout :D

They do publish shipping rates, actualy - flat rate of £7. Kinda sucks on small orders, which is why I haven't orderd from them since I wrote this reveiw. They've added a bunch of cool stuf recently, too.
