VSR compatibility with APS parts

Hi all snipers (no one else will probably read this),

 

Do any of you know if the cylinder is the same diameter as the APS series?

 

Or cutting to the chase:

 

Will the cylinder head fit off an APS onto a GSPEC?

 

Read it somewhere but looking at pictures doesn't really help. Still doubtful that it will. Depends on the screw thread too.

 

Oh yeh, does the G-SPEC cylinder head have the 2 holes to fit an APS key?

 

Please tell me all about it.......

Yeah, you can tell from some pictures that the nozzle is different.

 

So no, it cant.

 

Just one hole. But to what i did. Take a scrap 2x4 (anything really would work) drill a hole in it, then put a screw where the key would go. Then you have a ghetto rigged key 4 cheap.

Tea Towel and a pair of plyers for the stock cylinder head, or a pair of snipe plyers for the laylax one.
