Seperating TM M16A1 Reciever

I know it's hard becuase of the fit, but how do you seperate it?

 

I searched, but couldnt find anything. If someone could point me in the direction of a place to look, that would be nice.

Check the manual that comes with the gun.

 

You start by knocking the rear pin out and then you can tip the top part of the receiver using the forward hinge. To completely split the receiver you need to knock out the front pin too.

He´s talking about the A1 Remove both pins, magcatch, lower receiver pin, pistol grip and slide the upper receiver slightly to the front. Watch for the cocking lever. That´s the easiest way.

I am having problems removing the grip. Help?

Remove base plate. Disconnect motor and take it out. Unscrew two screws inside grip. Slide grip off, revealing the bottom of the mech box.

 

Once you got that off, remove the stock, mag catch and all pins. Then you can wiggle the lower off, and the mech box will remain in the upper receiver. Slide it out from the back while partially pulling the charging handle to the rear.
