HaVoC
I'd second that - MAV - cheap, reliable, well-proven, well-made, modular
Crandall
Also to add, a very High Speed Low Drag piece of kit!
MmC*
The DACH is an excellent rig, but it's HUGE - there's no way it'll fit you if you're small, sorry. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> By the way, are you sure that DACH is very big? It doesn't look big, it looks about same size like JUST's Chest Pouch ... I think you confused DACH with HSGI Warlord
Crandall
No, It's big.
MmC*
Crandall: Have you ever tried HSGI D.A.C.H. on you in real life? Or have you heard from your friend's friend that it's big? Or have you read it on internet?
Crandall
Ok, just trying to keep you from buying something that won't fit. It's your money, buy what you want, but don't *badgeress* when people try to help
Megalomaniac
SDS's I-RACK can be adjusted to fit very small people and is very well made. I hang my MP5 driectly from one of its loops when I walk back to the respawn.

But don't worry, your's information for me is important. Crandall. <

Megalomaniac
MmC*, I'd trust both crandall's and HaVoC's opinions if they say its gonna be too big. Well buddy its gonna be too big.
MmC*
What do you guys think about PPM Chest System Assaulter and PPM Chest System Patroller chest rigs?
Megalomaniac
Assaulter looks better IMHO, similiar to the MAV but I prefer the MAVs expandability. If you need more real estate with the MAV you can purchase the Bib attachment. If you need to carry a hydro throw on the X-Harness.
MmC*
If anyone have pictures of TT MAV, PPM's chest rigs, BH's Recon chest rig, you can give me link or send to this thears the pciture. Thanks before, guys! Yarr!
Haji
What do you guys are mind about these M4/M16 magazine pouches? Those are a solution to a problem that doesn't exist. They're fairly new (DBT marketed them first) but they're not an improvement over standard mag pouches. The DACH isn't a large rig. As far as chest rigs go, nothing has as small a footprint and can carry as much stuff as the DACH. The rig is probably 18" wide and maybe 12" tall. I'll get exact measurements on Tuesday if you want them. If you've read "Masters of Chaos", you've read events that the DACH on the wall of my office was a part of. Yeah, it was there...but I won't tell you who had it. As with all HSGI gear, its very well made and a good value for the price. BDS (formerly SOE) chest rigs are ginormous. They'll fit over armor, but by themselves, they're BIG. Quality is very, very good, but I'm really large, and I don't like how they fit me. In terms of fit, if you're small, the DACH will fit you even better than a MAV will. The only other rig you might wanna take a look at in terms of having a small footprint is the Spec Ops Brand MOUT rig.
MmC*
Thanks Haji, that was very helpful message! And if might measure the DACH's measurements, I will be pleased! So, thanks Haji! (And if somebody have a picture(s) HSGI DACH wear on, please give me link or send the message to the this theard!) <
