CYMA Mp5-J

As I'm sure most of you are aware, CYMA makes two versions of their MP5-J AEG:

 

One with a boys gearbox

 

One with a V2 copy gearbox.

 

How do I tell which is which? Are there some glaring external differences?

There's ton of difference

 

1. The box are different, the boys gearbox is designated CM023, while the V2 gearbox is CM027J

2. Accesories are different, CM023 comes with lots of accessories like scope, extra mag, rail etc, the CM027J comes with no accessories other than cheap sling (toss em)

3. Metal parts on the gun are different, cm023 has none (CMIIW), CM027 has them on the muzzle, trigger, stock bar, mag catch, front sight.

4. The price are also different

 

So realy, it's not difficult to tell em apart

Have you the designation numbers for all of the "high-end" CYMA guns? The ones that use TM copied Gearboxes?

True. There are no metal bits on the rubbish version. And it states the modely number on the side of the gun, so that's the ebst way to tell

 

On a related note, you have no idea of the satisfaction of snapping the rubbish CYMA MP5 in half

I believe the CYMA AEG designation starts at 027 (027 for MP5, 027J for MP5J), as their following releases are the 028 (028 = AK47, 028S = AKS) series.

I don't know, I'm not a fortune teller But the 027 and 028 series are both excellent for the price they come with
