See the law actually prohibit civilian turning on the light, only on certain "emergency" situations i guess. Not all civilians can bear arms, so the easiest way to protect yourself is to put the lights on the dash like i did and criminals would immediately stay away from the car. I mean we have people breaking windows in the middle of a traffic jam on daylight asking for your cellphone....and that light helps...plus the sirens. No more road rage...I can guarantee that!
