It's not in everyones price range, not sure i like the look either.

I'll stick with the Vltor mod stock, much cheaper IMO.

The price is pretty steep. In North America, it costs a litte over $250 to get the stock AND a cheap buffer tube to get it to fit airsoft. You need to do some mods to get it to fit, but they are really simple. I guess Redwolf gives you the modified buffer tube so they charge extra.

And getting hold of the stocks here is harder to start with.

Erm...what is the purpose of a RIS/RAS rail on the bottom of the stock?

You can attach an adjustable monopod to the back of the stock to stabilize the gun's up/down movements when using a bipod. It's a feature only real-steel target shooters can appreciate, though, since AEGs aren't consistent enough with accuracy for this feature to really matter.
